    This textbook is for college students and working adults who need to learn the kanji found on
    newspapers and the Internet and read about the modern-day Japanese society.

    Practical Kanji － 500 Basic Kanji Vol.1・２

    The textbooks cover frequently-found words with the goal


    of helping students comprehend newspaper articles.
    Volumes 1 and 2 cover 250 kanji characters each, or a
    total of 500 characters at N4 and N5 levels. Includes
    English and Vietnamese translations, CD with pronunciations,
    and a semi-transparent red bookmark that blocks the readings of kanji characters
    for effective lessons in reading, writing, and listening.

    Practical Kanji － 700 Kanji for the Modern World Vol.1・2

    Select lists of kanji characters and vocabulary that are frequently found in news articles on the
    modern Japanese society. Volumes 1 and 2 cover 350 characters each, or a total of 700
    characters at N3-N1 levels, as well as approximately 3500 words, so that students will learn to
    comprehend technical and professional text materials. Kanji vocabulary is expanded through
    context. Reading comprehension is improved through listening, reading, and writing.
