As an educator I have big love and concern for the education including
all the things that could affect it. Likewise the compassion for the learners is
also present because they are one of the key players for the better society of
today and tomorrow. So as early as I heard about the Education 2030 my
heart jumped out of joy because of the great plans they have for the education.
However I felt worried also because I know that issues and challenges will come
and will forever be part of the implementation process. But then again I firmly
believe that solutions are always there as long as there is willingness and love
in what you are doing.
So how can we address the issues and challenges of the Education 2030
in the school level? Let us begin with ourselves, the educators. We must ask
ourselves how much we are willing to be part of this big project. How much do
we care? And how long can we go? In a school level, we must be concerned
with the learners. We must ensure that youth in the barangay and near
barangay must enrol to school, because the higher the number of learners are
the lower the chances for them to become wasted with their life. Second is to
ensure that parents are also involved in the issues and challenges that the
school may face in the education 2030. Since no parents would like their
children to become nobody else, they will be a big help in giving inspiration or
moral help.
Moreover, School head must ensure that all the teachers are doing their
jobs accordingly and with a willing heart. The literacy among the students is
also important. Every student should know how to read comprehensively and
write properly so they could advance to the next level or achieve our dream
which is to eliminate poverty, erase hunger, establish good health and well-
being, provide quality education, enforce gender equality, improve clean water
and sanitation, grow affordable and clean energy, create decent work and
economic growth, increase industry, innovation, and infrastructure, reduce
inequality, mobilize sustainable cities and communities, influence responsible
consumption and production, organize climate action, develop life below water,
advance life on land, guarantee peace, justice, and strong institutions, build
partnerships for the goals.
To begin with the small steps are considered big steps in addressing the
issues and challenges of the Education 2030 in the school level. So let us stand
us one and work so we can achieve our goals in education to have a better
society.
