    Dear Hiring Manager

    I have completed my Masters in power engineering from University Technology Malaysia and I have my
    Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.

    I am very much interested in applying for this position. I consider myself possessing the necessary
    background as I have worked in a full time position with an Upstream Oil and Gas division of an EPC
    Company where I got the opportunity to work in varied offshore projects.

    I believe this position will be a perfect beginning for my engineering career. Working as a part of your
    esteemed organization would give me a great learning experience and it would give me the opportunity to
    apply some of my knowledge and experience that I have collected during my education and previous
    work.

    I believe myself to be an excellent candidate for the position and can make a positive contribution to your
    team. With the opportunity given in my previous company, I have gained some exceptional experience in
    design, detail engineering, procurement and technical coordination for electrical systems which in turn
    helped me to develop a strong understanding in Upstream Oil and Gas Operations. I learned how to
    implement and oversee many different projects, how to communicate professionally and accordingly in
    different environments, and how to become a valuable team player within an organization. Besides my
    work experience, I am a quick learner and sincere individual who have excellent communication skills. I
    have a strong analytical, problem solving capabilities and enjoy working in a team environment. I will be
    available as per the need and ready to relocate.
