for any one.

1
 Materials and tools:

For one spider you will need: 6. Thin strong thread for sewing parts together.
1. Yarn ( 65 % - mohair, 35 % - acryl); thread thickness is 1.76 oz / 175 yds 7. Needle for felting.
( 50g / 190 m). 8. Sewing needle.
In total - about 2.12 oz / 60 g of yarn. 9. Plastic eyes or beads in 2 sizes, 4 pcs.
* The color of the yarn is up to your imagination. 10. Сoated metal wire diam 0.06 ´´ (1.5 mm) .
2. Fiberfill. 11. Pliers.
3. Crochet hook -0.06´´ (1.6 mm). 12. Sticky tape.
4. Stitch markers.
5. Tapestry needle with a blunt tip and a large eye.

 Some tips:
 The spider is crocheted using very fine mohair yarn, folded in 1 thread.
 The «Head & Chest», as well as abdominal part are crocheted in the Spiral Rounds.
 Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning each round.
 The round must be ended before the loop where the marker is inserted.
 Once you've finished the round, move the marker to the loop on the hook.
 Spider legs are crocheted in Rows and after that they are stitched.

 Gauge
 10 sts x 10 rows to 1.2``x 1.2`` (3 x 3 cm)

Attn! If you want to print a pattern and you do not need pictures, then the pgs 14-18 are for this.

counted).
(...) * n, it means you need to repeat action in brackets n times,
or to the end of the row/rd.
Crochet in Spiral Rounds: when you crochet spiral rounds, you do not
have to turn your work and you do not join the round. Use a stitch
marker to mark the beginning of each round, and move the marker up
each time you start a new round. pic 3.
Crochet in Rows: when you crochet in rows, you need to turn your
work, make your turning chain, and start back across the row. The  Parts & Sizes
1. Abdominal part – 2.8´´( 7 cm).
beginning chain does not count as a stitch unless specified in the text. 2. „Head & Chest“ part – 2´´(5 cm).

 Assembling the large legs
For large legs use a wire about 15´´(38 cm) long, and for small ones – 9´´(24 cm) long.
 Round off the ends of the wire, make a small loop. Wrap the loop with a small piece of
sticky tape (pic 42).
 Apply this loop to the narrow part of the leg and sew it with a strong thread until the
first decrease. This part does not need to be stuffed (pic 43,44).
 Sew the edges of the part to the decreases (to the narrow part) and stuff it with fiberfill,
giving the desired shape, gradually tightening the seam. Use a thin, strong thread of the same
color as the yarn (I used a contrasting thread for the clarity).

 Stuff and sew the entire leg step by step ( pics 45,46). pic 42.
 Repeat the same from the other end of the wire (pic 47).
 Tightly wrap the section of the wire between the legs with thread ( pic 48).

pic 43. pic 44. pic 45.

pic 46.

pic 47. pic 48. 11

 Attn! Finished parts may vary slightly in size and therefore, it is difficult to determine the exact length of the wire frame.
You can solve this issue with the length of the wire as follows:
 Cut the wire with an excess length.
 First, do one leg completely. This will give you an idea of how long it turned out.
* My spider has long legs – 5.3´´(13.5 cm) (pic 49).
 Measure the width of your chest to find out how long you need to leave the are
between the legs. * My spider has chest width- 1.8´´(4.5 cm) (pic 50).
 Now you need to determine the distance between the legs X. It should be 0.2´´(0.5
cm) less than the width of the spider's chest at its widest point.
 In my case is : X = 1,8´´ – 0,2´´ = 1.6´´.
 Then, from the yellow point on the finished foot, measure the desired length of wire
is L = X + Y + the loop at the end (in my case: 1.6´´ + 5.3´´ + 0.8´´ = 7.7´´(19.5 cm).
 Cut off the excess wire (pic 83). 1.8´´ (4.5сm)

5.3´´ (13.5 сm)

5.3´´ 1.6´´

pic 51.
12
 Assembly the small legs in the same way as big one.
 Collect 4 pairs of the big legs and one pair of the small ones (pic 52).
 Then sew all the details to the central part of the spider from the side of the chest (pic 53).
 For sewing on the legs, use fine, strong thread in the color of the yarn.

 Eyes
My spider has 4 eyes of two sizes: two eyes 0.4
´´(10 mm) and two eyes 0.2 ´´(5 mm).
In my case, I used the buttons. But you may use
other options.
 Pierce the “head” with a needle and strap it
up slightly with a thin strong thread (pic 54).
 Form a tight knobble, and attach the eyes to
it (pic 55). pic 53.
pic 52.

 Final treatments:

 Comb the spider well.

 On the back of the spider, to make it look
more natural, you need to comb the fluff to
the center and lightly fix it with a felting
needle.

At the point M , make 1 Dec.
The one leg is ready. Repeat it 8 times.

 Assembling the big legs
For big legs use a wire about 15´´(38 cm) long, and for small ones – 9´´(24 cm) long.
 Round off the ends of the wire, make a small loop. Wrap the loop with a small piece of sticky tape (pic 42).
 Apply this loop to the narrow part of the leg and sew it with a strong thread until the first decrease. This part does not need to be
stuffed (pics 43,44).
 Sew the edges of the part to the decreases (to the narrow part) and stuff it with fiberfill, giving the desired shape, gradually tightening
the seam. Use a thin, strong thread of the same color as the yarn (I used a contrasting thread for the clarity).
 Stuff and sew the entire leg step by step ( pics 45,46).
 Repeat the same from the other end of the wire (pic 47).
 Tightly wrap the section of the wire between the legs with thread ( pic 48).
 Attn! Finished parts may vary slightly in size and therefore, it is difficult to determine the exact length of the wire frame.
You can solve this issue with the length of the wire as follows:
 Cut the wire with an excess length.
 First, do one leg completely. This will give you an idea of how long it turned out.
My spider has long legs – 5.3´´(13.5 cm) (pic 49).
 Measure the width of your chest to find out how long you need to leave the are between the legs.
My spider has chest width- 1.8´´(4.5 cm) (pic 50).
 Now, you need to determine the distance between the legs X. It should be 0.2´´(0.5 cm) less than the width of the spider's chest at
its widest point.
In my case is : X = 1,8´´ – 0,2´´ = 1.6´´.
 Then, from the yellow point on the finished foot, measure the desired length of wire is L = X + Y + the loop at the end (in my case:
1.6´´ + 5.3´´ + 0.8´´ = 7.7´´(19.5 cm).
 Cut off the excess wire (pic 83).
 Eyes
My spider has 4 eyes of two sizes: two eyes 0.4 ´´(10 mm) and two eyes 0.2 ´´(5 mm). In my case, I used the buttons. But you may use
other options.
 Final treatments:
 Comb the spider well.
 On the back of the spider, to make it look more natural, you need to comb the fluff to the center and lightly fix it with a felting needle.
