Extraction JAY PATEL - UCT20064 Step - 1 1.Create an .dxf file of the smoothened alignment 2.Convert the file into shapefile format. 3.Open open road concept station software 4.Add your respective location 5.Mark your model area Step - 2 1.Select all the options and download them all 2.Go to import and select your file 3.Select the following options and import the file Step - 3 1.Once the road is imported, go to measure tool and start marking points at distance of 20m from the center line. Step - 4 1.After all the points are marked, Note down the start coordinates, end coordinates and the elevation points of all the markings in an .csv file. Step - 5 1.Once all the points are noted down, Open a new Autocad file. 2.Use command profile and input the data from the excel file as asked. 3.On entering the information the following graph would be shown.
