Duties include visual weld inspection, witness of required I.T.P. NDE, RT film review, assuring compliance to applicable customer specifications, drawing requirements, welding procedures, and quality I.T.P. inspection hold point sequences. Andritz (2006-2009) Quality Consultant * CMPC- Chile, S.A.: Construction site Quality Control Supervisor for new pulping Fiber line. Responsible for in-process/final quality surveillances which included weld/mechanical inspection for shop and field fabricated equipment, and hydro-witnessing. Equipment inspected primarily consisted of pressure vessels, API- Tanks, structural steel, and piping/tubing. Responsible for assuring & witnessing all field fabricated equipment met applicable governing codes, drawing requirements, testing requirements, and customer specifications. Responsible for coordinating with supplier/customer quality representatives, quality document control/review/acceptance, and eventual equipment/document turnover to customer end user. Duties also includes assuring & witnessing machined/fabricated equipment met applicable governing codes, testing/material requirements, Andritz drawings/specifications, customer specifications, and coordinating with supplier/customer quality representatives. Responsible for procuring inspection/photo summary reports. Doty Machine Works, Fort Edward, N.Y. (1996-2006) QA/QC Inspector, Project Management, Shipping/Receiving: QA/QC Inspector: Responsible for conducting in-process/final inspection on machined, and weld fabricated parts and equipment primarily for the pulp and paper industry. Duties included assuring new manufactured/repaired/rebuilt equipment met customer drawing/specification/code requirements by conducting & documenting as-built dimensions, coatings, and welding inspection. Responsible for coordination and surveillance of subcontracted services such as non-destructive testing, special coatings/hard facing applications, shot penning, and coordinating with customer quality representatives. Wrote in-house quality control manual and precision tool calibration procedures. * Project Management: Responsible for the assessment, quotation, and material acquisition for the rebuilding/repair of atmospheric diffuser hydraulic cylinders, pressure diffuser valve station components, and digester/impregnation vessel shaft level indicators. (Doty Machine Works Continued) * Shipping & Receiving: Responsible for assuring received material met Doty Machine Works purchase order requirements as far as chemical/material properties, dimensional requirements, and quantity. (1988-1995) Quality Control Inspector * Level II ultrasonic imaging technician: Responsible for conducting ultrasonic imaging for various North American pulp & paper mill sites.
