Abbreviations
st = stitch

Notes
- This pattern is written using US crochet terminology.
- If you use the yarn and hook indicated, the elephant will be about 15.5
cm (6.1 inches) tall. You can make it bigger or smaller using another
type of yarn but, please, adapt the crochet hook and safety eyes
accordingly.
EARS (Make 2)
Make a slip stitch in next stitch and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: sc in all 6 st (6)
Rnd 3: inc in all 6 st (12)
Rnd 4: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 5-8: sc in all 18 st (18)
Rnd 9: working in Front Loops Only

Make a slip stitch in next stitch and fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
- Place the body centered under the head with pins. Use the pictures as a
reference. Sew the head to the body with 18 stitches, one for each
single crochet.
- Pin the legs to the body with the color transition pointing downwards
(as shown in the photos) and sew them to the body.
