Evidence: Take a break

Select a celebration around the world and describe it according to the format.
Include images to illustrate your ideas. You can find and example in Introductory

world. You have to make your description in minimum 250 words.

Valentine’s Day, also called St. Valentine’s Day, holiday (February 14) when lovers
express their affection with greetings and gifts.

The day is popular in the United States as well as in Britain, Canada, and Australia,
and it is also celebrated in other countries, including Argentina, France, Mexico,
and South Korea. In the Philippines it is the most common wedding anniversary,
and mass weddings of hundreds of couples are common on that date. The holiday
has expanded to expressions of affection among relatives and friends.

On this date, many people share time with their familiars, friends, couples, going to
eat at a restaurant, to the cinema, or only giving gifts of love for their special’s
persons, on that day flowers, cards and the lovespoon, the spoon of love, are given
away. Formerly lovers carved them in wood for women and, depending on their
design, they can have various meanings, including friendship, good luck, support
or being the key to the heart of man.
