Session-1 Summary Report on
9 December, 2021 At the first session, we introduced ourselves to the professor and the classmates to get know more each other for the first meeting through the online class. One thing which I was excited to study with the professor was he gave a few advices that relevant to my future after I finish my bachelor degree in International Relations. The main moment at the first session was the Course Orientation for the class. It’s really important for the student caught up this class easily. There is course description, learning methodology and requirements, teaching method & grading assessment, and works to be completed. First, course description is talk about the objectives of the course and focus on what. For example, developing countries have the problems for developments. And this course can also provide the theories or ideas to solve the issues which a nation is facing. All the theories can show the ways for helping the developing countries to get growing economy. Second, learning methodology and requirements means we know the method and requirement for this course. The students have to do the assignments and submit on time. Moreover, this course also has the group work or the group assignment to do the research. And we have to be the active participations in this class with face to face. Third, teaching method has the lecture, class discussion, group work, session summary, chapter summary, presentation, quiz and exam. Grading assessment has the attendance & participation, discussion & presentation, session & chapter summary, mid-term exam or assignment, and final exam. Fourth, works to be completed is for the students to complete in this course such as session summary reports, chapter summary reports, ideal questions and problems, assignments (individual and group works), exams (quiz test, midterm and final), and consolidated all works with impression, table of contents and conclusion. I will complete all of them for this class and submit on time. To sum up, in this course, we have the course description is talk about the objectives of the course and focus on what. And one more thing is we should follow the learning methods and requirement; and we should complete all the works of this course to pass in the class with the professor. Moreover, the first session was actually good for us because it gave us how we can learning in the next days till the end of the class.
