Job Title: SEO Specialist

Type of Position: Full-Time

Daily Work Description:

• SEO - Keyword research / strategy


• SEO - Audits, reporting and management
• SEO - Local SEO, directory / citation listing research and management
• SEO - Onpage / technical optimisation
• SEO - Content analysis and management
• SEO - Conversion optimisation
• SEO - Internal linking / siloing
• SEO - Website structures and URLs
• SEO - Metadata, 301 redirects, indexing, XML sitemaps
• Google Analytics - setup, configuration, installation, reporting and maintenance
• Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster - setup, configuration, installation, reporting and maintenance
• Google My Business and Bing Places - setup, configuration and optimisation
• Website - content management, post blog posts, create pages, edit copy and images etc
• Website - Wordpress software and plugin updates
• Website - speed and performance management

Skill Sets Required:

Essential

• 3+ years recent demonstrable specialist experience in SEO


• SEO related character references
• Detailed SEO case studies
• Ability and willingness to learn, happy to be trained and perfectly follow instructions
• Is a bright / intelligent problem solver
• Has a meticulous eye for detail
• Good English communication skills (both spoken and written)
• Has a positive mindset, and a strong work ethic
• Highly computer literate (Excel / Google Sheets, Word / Google Docs)
• Highly organised / methodical in approach
• WordPress management knowledge / experience

• This role provides a good opportunity for growth for the right person with the correct work ethic.
• We have quarterly Performance review calls in the first year and annual thereafter.
• After 6 months, if we are happy with performance, we will give a one-off $200 USD bonus
• We honour the 13 month pay (pro rata)
• Potential for compensation increases with high performance
• 20 days paid leave / sick per year
• Must have a fast and reliable computer and internet connection, backup computer and internet
connection option, a headset and a web camera for video calls.
