FORMAT: Arial, 12, double spacing

INTRODUCTION
 Give a panoramic view of your problem (what are they saying about the problem and why are you
interested on it?)
 What are the realities from the ground about your problem?
 What are experts and other authorities saying on your problem?
 What do you intend to prove and how will you go about your problem?

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


 state your problem in a declarative form:
Ex: “ This study (research/undertaking) hopes to pinpoint what are the possible side effects of Pfizer
as a Covid 19 vaccine?
 To approach the study objectively the following questions are to be answered:
1. What is a vaccine?
2. What are the companies that produces vaccines?
3. How do they do it?
4. From their study what are the possible effects of the vaccine?

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY


 you must be able to convince your readers to go over your research
 hence you must be able to convince them that something positive is in store in your undertaking
 the ability to convince them lies on your ability to point out that there is something new in your
research which has not been pointed out before
 regency of your topic would also make it interesting to the readers
 in terms of its academic relevance what can your research contribute to the building blocks of
knowledge
 What can your readers and the common people learn from your research?
 How important is your research?

SCOPE AND LIMITATION


Scope:
• What is covered and is not covered by your study?
(Pfizer: 1st or 2nd dose or both; population: A1, A2,A3; age bracket, job, etc)
• explain why they are covered and they are not covered
Limitation:
• if you are hampered, what prevents you from going full blast?
• availability of data and materials, retrieval of questionnaires
• anything (especially academic) that will hinder you from coming up with ideal results and findings

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATUR


• explain substantially the books and journals or any written manuscript that you will use in your
research
• Specifically, you ought to point out what is the bearing of this book or journal to your work. (What
does it say about your topic? Does it agree support your hypothesis or does it contradict you?).
Include the contra-positions.
• what is the relation of this book to your other books – hence, related (related to your topic and related
to your other sources
