The module will have the following steps when distributing the network:

1. Lock the channel

2. Get SSID and PSK

3. Connection routing

4. Successful routing (DHCP resolution is successful, and the module gets the local
IP)

5.APP LAN discovery module

6. Modules connect to cloud

1) if the WiFi indicator of the air conditioner panel changes, please check the change
of WiFi indicator

 When the air conditioner is not equipped with network, the WiFi indicator will be
off.

 When the air conditioner is in reset state, WiFi indicator light flashes slowly for
1s/ time.

 When the air conditioner is in the state of distribution network, WiFi indicator
light flashes quickly, 0.5s/ time.

 When the air conditioning network connection is normal, the WiFi indicator will
stay on.

2) confirm the wireless configuration

 Ensure that both the router and the phone are working in the 2.4g band, and select
the 2.4g SSID correctly. If the router and mobile phone work in the 5G band and
the module distribution network fails 100%, it is necessary to distinguish the
SSID of 5G and 2.4g, which can be set as no SSID. If it is a dual-frequency one-
in-one router, please set the router to work on 2.4g network only, and turn on 5G
function after the distribution network is completed.

3) check the client list on the router

 List of router clients to confirm whether there is a corresponding MAC address of


air conditioner, such as devices starting with 24-df-a7, 34-ea-34, 78-0f-77, b4-43-
0d, c8-f7-42, etc.

 If DHCP is not enabled, the IP address cannot be obtained.

5) confirm the router mode

 Routers support multi-antenna mode, as well as mobile phones (mimo is


supported by Android and apple phones in the market now). Most mobile phones
are easy to negotiate the package of multi-antenna mode if they are close to the
router, which results in the module often not being connected to the Internet (so
the problem caused by this reason is likely to be probabilistic).

 Solution: open the Settings of the router, change the mode of the router to 11bg,
and try again to configure the network

6) with special router configuration, 100% of the distribution network fails

 Check the password Settings of the router, do not use special character Spaces,
and do not exceed 32 characters;
 Do not choose wep-shared encryption method, use wpa-psk/wpa2-psk;

 Check whether APP isolation is on or off;

 If the filter MAC is set, remove this restriction

7) confirm whether the router is open to UDP protocol

 Open UDP broadcast and group broadcast and unicast port 80 for device
discovery

 Open UDP ports 16384 and 1812 for remote control

 Open port 15001 of UDP for network result feedback

 It is recommended to open all UDP protocols and ports

8)The router or mobile phone is not compatible with the packet, resulting in the
device can not network

 Use other routers of different brands or models (mobile hotspots are available) or
mobile phones for network verification

9) other alternative solutions to solve the distribution network problem

 Turn on the hot spot (use the same configuration as the SSID and password of the
router), turn off the hot spot and let the device connect to the router after the
network configuration is completed
 Use an additional home router, such as tplink, to connect to the carrier's router,
and the device connects to the home router

10) equipment replacement

Finally, after all the problems have been eliminated, we can compare whether there
are other same products in our home. If all other products are ok, we can try to replace
the equipment if there is any problem.

If the equipment cannot be configured normally after the above investigation, please
provide the following information:
