    LAND HANG OFF

    General
    A mounted hang off is constructed to fix a Floor mounted examples
    cable by locking the armor layer or layers of
    the cable. The hang-off is bolted with
    anchor bolts to a concrete floor/wall. The
    installation of the hang off is normally done
    at the transition joint pit relatively close to
    the sea.
     The hang off can be manufacture in
    hot-deep galvanized high-strength
    steel, stainless steel or aluminum
    depending on the material of the sea
    cable’s armor wires.
     The size of the hang off is in steps

     The hang off can be used for
    different armor wire diameter.
     The hang off can be designed to
    carry a specified tensile pulling load.
     The hang off is designed for various
    grounding connections.
     Armoring wires and surfaces on hang
    off is by standard extra protected
    with bitumen in conjunction with the
    installation.
     If a double layer armored sea cable
    is installed, if needed two hang offs
    can be mounted in line or if there is a
