1. General
D Depending on the models, either a normal display type or optitron display type combination meter is used.
White or amber is used for the illumination of optitron display, again depending on the models.
D The optitron display type combination meter realizes excellent visibility through the use of smoke acrylic
in the protective panel, and bright LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) that have high contrast to illuminate the
indicator and the dial.
D The dual-dial analog meter is used for the speedometer and tachometer.
D The LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is used for the odometer, trip meter, and fuel gauge.
D A meter ECU and buzzer are enclosed in the combination meter. This ECU maintains communication with
other ECUs through the CAN.
D The LCD type multi-information display is combined with the optitron display type combination meter.
D The combination meters available for models are as follows:

Key Reminder
When the driver’s door is opened with the ignition key in the ACC or LOCK position, the meter ECU sounds
the buzzer*1 to warn the driver that the ignition key has not been removed.
*1: The function setting can be changed using the customized body electronics system. For details, refer
to Customized Body Electronics System section on page BE-8.

4. Odo/Trip Meter
D The odometer or trip meter A or B changes each time the ODO/TRIP switch is pressed. The distance driven
of trip meter A and B can be reset individually by pressing the ODO/TRIP switch for 0.8 seconds or longer.
D When the light control switch is in the TAIL position, dimming mode can be entered by pressing the
ODO/TRIP switch. During dimming mode, the brightness of the meter will change every second while
the ODO/TRIP switch is held down.

5. Multi-information Display
D The multi-information display displays the odo/trip meter and cruise information (including instant fuel
consumption, average fuel consumption after refueling, drivable distance, and average vehicle speed after
starting).
D The information displayed on the multi-information display changes each time the DISP switch is pressed.
D Average fuel consumption after refueling and average vehicle speed after refueling can be reset by
pressing the DISP switch for 0.8 seconds or longer.
