which are the main focus why action research is conducted and take immediate action for them.
According to the National Education Association (2016) derived effects of action research on research:

teaching profession and professional development.
4. The following are the six conditions that foster effective school-based action research, choose 3
and explain
A. Openness to weakness
- teachers should collaborate with other teachers, staff members and administrators to
discussed weaknesses on what parts of the classroom/school curriculum that needed for
improvement. Within these practice, they may encounter similarities and differences about
the educational problems they encounter.
B. Chances for creativity
- changing educational needs, interests and issues of the students or school practices will
serve as guide for teachers and administrators to formulate and analyze new ideas about
alternative future practices. It will serve as opportunity in considering new method of
learning in adapting changes within the school curriculum. An example of that is the new
normal we experience now, blended learning approach is used during this times of
pandemic and I believed that, they conducted action research before implementation to
different schools and inside the classroom practices.
C. Cooperative staff relations
- teachers and administrators can share what their proposed idea, plan, decisions, and
actions with one another that support working collaboratively in addressing the issue. For
instance, in a whole school setting it is difficult to a teacher if he/she will conduct action
research alone.
- Action research help teachers and administrators in identifying the flaws inside the classroom or
school to understand what areas are needed for improvement. Conducting the cyclical process will
help them in decision making and action planning that will provide solutions and recommendations
leading to the school improvement. It can result in professional development, education change,
enhanced personal awareness, improved practice and new learning.
