    Coking coal and metallurgical coke prices were mostly lower on September 28. Platts daily coking coal assessments for FOB Australia, CFR China, and CFR India were down by $2-3/mt, $1-2.75/mt, and $1.75-2.75/mt respectively across different grades. Metallurgical coke prices were steady for FOB North China at $681/mt for 66/65% CSR but up $7/mt for CFR India. Domestic Chinese coke prices were unchanged. Freight rates were mixed with capesize rates from Australia to China up $2.35/mt while panamax rates were mostly steady.
