Detailed Lesson Plan in Grade 7 Science

Content standard: The learners demonstrate an understanding of the different


phenomena that occur in the atmosphere
Performance standard: The learners shall be able to analyze the advantage of the
location of the Philippines in relation to the climate, weather, and seasons.
Learning competency: Discuss how energy from the Sun interacts with the layers of
the atmosphere; S7ES-IVd- 5

I. Objectives: At the end of the session, the learners should be able to:
a. Identify the different layers of the atmosphere,
a. Label the properties of layers of the atmosphere (troposphere,
stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere)
b. Appreciate the importance of the atmosphere in our daily living;
