    Thompson & Grace Institute of Technology is committed to safely implementing and


    maintaining all the requirements of OPITO standards that applicable to our training and
    assessment activities.

    Top management ensures that the safety and wellbeing of delegates, employees and sub-
    contractors within our facility are safeguarded at all times.

    Thompson & Grace Institute of Technology meets the above commitments by:

     Planning and conducting our training and assessment activities in alignment with
    applicable OPITO requirements;

     Conducting drills to prepare everyone for effective emergency response;

     Conducting Job Safety Analysis and toolbox talks prior to commencement of


    hazardous activities;

     providing adequate resources which include competent staff and equipment;

     maintaining a safe environment for training and assessment activities;

     restricting smoking to designated areas;

     integrating health and safety into management decisions;

     maintaining effective communication with delegate and training staff at all stages;
    and

     ensuring that all employees understand and work in accordance with this policy

    The top management of Thompson & Grace Institute of Technology monitors the
    implementation of this safety policy, and periodically reviews it to ensure continued adequacy,
    suitability and effectiveness.
