To obtain a long-term position as a mathematics teacher to share my passion for the subject and my
dedication for fulfilling children’s educational needs and development.

STUDENT TEACHER, LORD BEAVERBROOK HIGH SCHOOL
Responsible for teaching Math 10C and Math 10-3. Created effective long-range, unit, and lesson
plans. Developed learning materials, such as unit workbooks, performance tasks, projects, and
games/puzzles. Constructed formative and summative assessments that aligned with the math
programs of studies. Established classroom routines and expectations. Participated in student
progress conferences and professional development days. Attended staff and PLC meetings.
Volunteered as a volleyball score keeper. Composed report card comments. Established a positive
classroom environment and fostered strong rapport with students and colleagues. Collaborated with
teacher mentor and fellow student teachers.

educational courses, including Curriculum and Instruction (general and math), Educational Psychology
(general and exceptional learners), Language in Education, Evaluation of Learning, Communications
Technology, Teaching English as a Second Language, Studies of Education: Developing World,
Assessment for Individual Education Program, Web-Based Learning, and Social Context of Schooling.

ACTIVITIES
Loves volunteering, baking, and singing. Enjoys watching movies and playing board games. Passionate about
teaching and learning new skills and abilities. Part of the Education Undergraduate Society, Alberta Teacher’s
Association, and Inter-Varsity Christian Club.

SUICIDE PREVENTION – LOOKING FORWARD, CENTRE FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION
Participated in the Looking Forward: Preventing Suicide in Youth Workshop. This is an interactive half-day
workshop created for individuals working with youth aged 12-24, which examines warning signs in youth and
explores intervention strategies through stories and case studies.
