    To connect a PC or laptop to a router, connect an internet cable from the PC to the router's WAN port, and connect a LAN cable from the router to the PC's LAN port. Check the IP address configuration on the PC to find the router's address. Mobile devices can connect to the router via Wi-Fi by finding the router name and entering the password listed on the back of the router. The router can then be accessed by entering its IP address into a web browser using the default username and password.

    Connect Your PC/Laptop to the Router

    Configuring Your Router


    1. Connect the ACT internet cable between the
    PC and the Router using the WAN/internet
    port (different coloured port) of the router.
    2. With the LAN cable of the router, connected
    one end to the LAN port (labelled 1-4) on the
    router and the other end to the PC/Laptop.
    3. In the system press key & R key together
    to open the Run dialog box.
    4. Type ipconfig on the command
    prompt(Black screen) .
    The default gateway of the LAN or Ethernet
    adapter will be the Router address.
    (Ex:192.168.0.1)
    Connect Your Mobile
    If a Laptop/PC is not available then you can connect your phone to the router via Wi-Fi.
    Look at the back side of the router to get Wi-Fi Name and Password. Connect to the Wi-Fi using the mentioned
    Password.
    1. Go to settings in the Mobile, turn on Wi-Fi and wait until the mobile detects router name press the router
    name to connect.
    2. Enter the Password to connect
    3. Continue by logging into the router using steps below.
    Logging into the Router
    1. Open a web browser
    2. Enter the below IP Address in the Address Bar. A login page appears.
    3. The usual usernames and passwords are given in the table below.

    If all the above credentials do not work, please check these details on the back of your router
    PPPoE Configuration
    1. Select ‘Internet settings’
    2. Set ‘Connection Type’ as
    PPPoE
    3. In the ‘ISP Username’
    field enter the ACT Login
    ID
    4. In the ‘ISP Password’
    enter ACT Login
    Password
    5. Click Connect
    Wireless Setup – Router SSID/Password Configuration
    1. Go to ‘WiFi Settings’ and
    select ‘Wifi Name and
    Password Option’
    2. Enter the WiFi Name for
    both 2.4GHz and 5GHz
    networks
    3. Keep the encryption Mode
    WPA/WPA2-PSK
    4. Enter the Password
    5. Use this password to
    connect your Devices to
    the Router
