    Dr. Chen’s lab has recently developed a system to express many transgenes at a time in an animal. This project will validate different use cases of this new
    system by inserting different genes from many organisms into the host animal genome to create a useful tool for researchers.

    The project will take place in Dr. Chen’s lab, where the intern will work directly with a PhD student aided by a post-doctoral fellow and a research assistant.
    Dr. Chen will supervise the project and mentor the intern.
