Overview
This SOP document aims to explain the procedure for Joining Windows 10 Machines to your Azure
AD Directory

Definitions
Azure AD Joined Registered to Azure AD without requiring an organizational account to sign in to the
device

Azure AD Registered Registered to Azure AD without requiring an organizational account to sign in to the
device

Assumptions & Prerequisite Skills


● Moderate computer skills and knowledge are needed.
● This SOP assumes that you are an IT Administrator

Supplies Needed
● Windows 10 Pro

Overview of Steps

Step 1 - Open Settings, and then select Accounts.


2.Select Access work or school, and then select Connect.

3.Select “Join this device to Azure Active Directory”


4.Enter your work Email and Password

5.On the Make sure this is your organization screen, review the information to make sure it's right,
and then select Join.

6. On the You're all set screen, click Done.

To make sure you're joined

You can make sure that you're joined by looking at your settings.
1. Open Settings, and then select Accounts.

2 .Select Access work or school, and make sure you see text that says something like, Connected
to <your_organization> Azure AD.

After you join employee device to your organization's network, employee should be able to access
all of work resources using your work account information.
