Visited specified higher education institutions in


Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Lahore and conduct random
interviews from students, faculty, administration and other staff
and to get specific information about the sociological
environment and social dynamics of Higher Education
Institutions. Interviews were also conducted in 27 districts in
Pakistan and AJ &Kashmir.

 Research Assistant worked on a project for Mr. Hassan Abbas,


currently Pakistan Chair in Columbia University, USA, in
Pakistan on making district profiles of 17 districts in
NWFP. 2008

Interviews were conducted from political figures of the respective


districts as well as from different segments of the society in the
area. It also included studying and making notes from
governmental documents and publications. In the project I had to
gather socio-political and in some cases economic aspects of each
district apart from describing the physical features of the
districts. The reports also included specific contemporary
political and social changes and developments in each district.

 Interpreter with Richard Tall, a British Police Officer for


two weeks in “Train the Trainer Course” at National Police
Academy Islamabad-2009.

 Language Assistant with Roger Marshall, in “Intelligence


Analysis Course” at National Police Academy, Islamabad-
2009.

 Visiting Faculty in NUST Business School, National


University of Science & Technology, Islamabad Pakistan
from September, 2009 to January 2011 and taught the
courses on History, International Relations and Pakistan
Study.

 Research Associate in FATA Research Centre, an Islamabad


based think-tank, from February 2010 to March 2011.

in FATA” in biannual journal “Tigah” published by FATA
Research Center, an Islamabad based think tank.

 Worked on the Research Project funded by University of

Project” on a project in collaboration with FATA Research
Centre Islamabad. Title of the project is “Documentation of
Drone strikes in Pakistan”.

Punjab. Title of the project is “Analysis of Insurgency and
Counter-Insurgency in FATA”

Center and LUMS in Serena Hotel, Islamabad on 15-16
September 2012. Title of the Seminar was “Pakistan’s
