1. INTRODUCTION
Deodorizers are the ones in charge in neutralizing and eliminating foul odors from
the things that people commonly use. For instance, the foot wears that they use on their
daily errands. It helps absorb moisture that has been formed or are forming when our feet
cannot respire. The bacteria proliferate until it breeds and spread which makes it fabricate
a bad smell in an object which is commonly called “odor”. It can be controlled with the
right hygiene products but when your footwear takes on a very unpleasant smell, your
best option besides outright replacing your shoes is to have a reliable shoe deodorizer. A
deodorizer that manages to get rid of tough, deep-set odors with a soft, pleasant scent and
Several studies have shown that charcoal can help absorb unwanted odors naturally.
In addition, parsley also has its antiseptic, antimicrobial, and astringent properties that
supports the deodorizing effect of the chlorophyll in parsley that is known to neutralize
body odor.
Homeowners want a more powerful fragrance that lasts longer. They want a more
cleaner solution that has less of an impact to the environment. This provides a huge
opportunity for us to innovate and experiment with new ways of scenting a space and
reaching out to these target markets. That can only mean better outcomes for the cleaning
hypoallergenic. Factoring air pollution into your cleaning routine can make life at home
so much more pleasant. High Efficiency Particulate Area (HEPA) filters in your air
conditioner unit, vacuuming regularly, and opening the windows when the weather is
good can all help reduce allergens and airborne bacteria. There are plenty of other natural
products you can use to deodorize your home and give it a delicious scent (Shawke,
2019).
Some of the shoe deodorizers cannot last for a long period of time. Others are using
artificial products to get rid of foul odors but cannot maintain the fragrance in their
footwear. It is unpredictable if the product that you are using will cover it up or not; the
offensive smell in your shoes. That is why other people are seeking for a better way to
solve their problem in a more natural process but the truth is people still take the basic
methods of using harmful chemicals that is not only bad for the community but also for
the health and well-being of the people. To sum it up, the researchers have come up with

A lot of people think that chemicals are the best way to cover undesirable odors.
They try to chemically remove the odor, or try to cover up the stink with a different
smell. But chemicals are not the answer in this situation, as they don’t remove the smell
and are bad for you, your home, and the environment. The good news is that you can
remove these odors naturally, benefiting you in countless ways (Wickham, 2015).
Olfaction (sense of smell) is one of the senses that are often taken for granted by
individuals. The role of olfaction can be seen as two fold. The first is a functional role,
rooted in the survival of the species, including staying away from hazards, food ingestion
One of the first things visitors notice when entering your home is its smell. They
might even sense an odor before ever opening the door to see the inside. Odors are your
home's first impression. Charcoal is known to effectively absorb and trap odors, but you
will want to control the potential mess it can make (Pelmont, 2015).
Parsley
Parsley is a popular folk remedy for treating unpleasant body odors. It’s the high
content of chlorophyll and its fresh aroma that give it a deodorizing effect. This herb
cleanses the body and fights bacteria that make the body smell bad (Negishi O, Negishi
Y, Ozawa, 2002). Chlorophyll is also known as nature’s deodorizer for its ability to help
detoxify the blood. It’s been said to help with odor control, gut health, immune system
support and cancer prevention (Wilson, 2018). Parsley is the most popular herb used in
cooking or garnishing a dish. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties, so used daily,
it could help to relive joint pain. Since parsley is hard to grow it was thought that only
witches could grow it. Due to the high levels of chlorophyll, parsley is a natural
deodorizer. After eating garlic and onions, chew a piece of parsley to combat mouth odors
(Barr & Sentinel, 2018). The deodorizing effect of the chlorophyll in parsley is known to
neutralize body odor. Parsley also has antiseptic, antimicrobial, and astringent properties (
Theresaan, 2019). The strong oils in parsley help overpower nose-offending scents.
Parsley also contains a good amount of chlorophyll, which has alkalizing effects. This
means it helps alkalize the body and purify the blood. In addition, its antibacterial effects
combat the odor-causing bacteria in the body. Parsley also aids in detoxification
(Kapaios, 2019).
parsley, on body odour is well documented anecdotally, there’s not yet enough clinical
supplement . Eating parsley is known to help reduce the unpleasant odor caused by
bacterial action on body sweat. Although sweat is a natural coolant and can include the
pheromones that are responsible for the attraction of one person to another, it is subject to
bacterial degradation which occurs with the release of foul-smelling sulfurous gases.
Anaerobic bacteria deep within the pores of the skin also release these gases, with the
results that a body that has not been washed for a while will tend to offer an odor
offensive to the nose.parsley stalks. In the past, such body odor could be reduced by
rubbing herbs over the body, and while this tended by and large to mask the smell to a
greater or lesser degree, it was believed that parsley actually absorbed the odor. This is
likely due to the large quantities of chlorophyll that parsley contains(Miller, 2011).

and cosmetic uses, though none are scientifically proven (Huizen, 2020). Activated
carbon can be made through various processes and from various carbon-containing raw
materials. Often raw materials such as,coal, brown coal, charcoal or coconut shells are
simple as setting the charcoal in the areas where you notice the smell. Activated charcoal
is a charcoal that has been chemically treated to increase the amount of oxygen it
contains. The infusion of oxygen makes the charcoal more porous so that it has more
Activated charcoal is the powdered form of carbon and has a wide array of uses.
Besides a common odor remover in aquarium filters, activated charcoal is also an oral
treatment for various poisons. Furthermore, activated charcoal will absorb unpleasant
odors in the air without using harmful and potentially dangerous chemicals( Flanigan,
2017).Activated charcoal is not the same substance as that found in charcoal bricks or
adsorbent, allowing it to bind to molecules, ions, or atoms. In this way, it removes these
from dissolved substances. Various activated charcoal deodorants are widely available.
Charcoal may absorb smells and harmful gases, making it ideal as an underarm, shoe, and
Activated carbon is a special type of carbon that can adsorb various molecules and
these are absorbed in the large surface area by Van der Waals forces (General term used
to define the attraction of intermolecular forces between molecules). Just like charcoal

A Questionnaire Survey is used in the study to gather the needed data among the
selected homeowners to test the sample product. This type of research instrument was
chosen for this research as it helps to ensure consistency and completeness in carrying out
a task. It is a quick method to collect data forms from multiples respondents. The
researchers asked permission to conduct the study from the Practical Research adviser.
After the approval, the researchers will then do the experiment for their product. The
researchers will reproduce and disseminate the survey questionnaires to the qualified
random respondents of each baranggay. The respondents will be asked to test the sample
product and accomplish the needed information after the researchers had explained the
purpose of the study and experiment thoroughly. The data will be retrieved immediately
after they have successfully accomplished it. Their responses will be arranged and

Parsley is used by many people as a deodorant, and is a healthy way to mask the odor
of stale sweat or bad breath. Many people prefer to use roll-on or spray deodorants and
anti-perspirants but in doing so they could be compromising their health ( Miller, 2011).
Activated charcoal neutralizes odors, including pet odors, mold and human waste,
and it’s much safer than chemical odor neutralizers (E. Green, 2020).
In summary, Parsley and Charcoal are one of the known remedies to get rid the body

they grow very well even in the warmer lowlands. (Urban Gardening Mom, 2020).
Around 3 million people live in Manila’s slums, where hundreds of families have
earned their livelihood making charcoal for generations. The charcoal made in the slums
is sold to middlemen who then sell the fuel to small convenience stores across Manila.
Some Filipinos still use charcoal to cook daily, as do the vendors preparing street food
(McCormick, 2019).
As the result of the data shown with the support of other research studies, it was
