Instruction for Assessment

A) Individual Assessment (PECs)

 Students are required to identify and gather information about one entrepreneur
and its business (sources can be from newspaper articles, website, blog, internet,
etc) and prepare a report.
 Content of the report should consist :

a) Cover page (Refer the following format) – 5M


b) Table of Content (pages must be number in Roman numerals (i, ii, etc) – 5M
c) Executive Summary in one paragraph (pages must be number in Roman
numerals (i, ii, etc) – 5M

d) Content :

- Background of the entrepreneur – 5M


- Background of the business -5M
- Students must also include any four personal entrepreneur competencies
(PEC) of the selected entrepreneur. Identify and explain with example the
PECs. (based on the information that you have collected). Student should
refer Slide Power Point Module 1 (4 point with examples x 2.5M each =
10M

- Appendices ( Any picture, product, photo, achievement etc) - 5M

- Overall Report (Spelling, Sentence Structure and Grammar) – 10M

B) Individual Report- Business Model Canvas (BMC)

 Students should choose any one business company and should do analysis
regarding BMC Analysis.
 Content of the report should consist :

a) Cover page – 2.5 M


b) Table of Content (pages must be number in Roman numerals (i, ii, etc) – 2.5 M
c) Executive Summary in one paragraph (pages must be number in Roman
numerals (i, ii, etc) – 5M
d) Content :

- Background of the business (History, type of industry involve, and product


or service offered) – 5M

- Explain all 9 component of BMC whereby for each component student


should provide 2 component for each. The component consist of :

Customer Segments – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M


Value Proposition – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M
Distribution Channel – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M
Customer Relationship – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M
Revenue Streams – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M

Key Activities – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M
Key Resource – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M
Key partners – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M
Cost Structure – 2 point x 2.5 M = 5 M

C) Group Business Plan (Report)

Students are required to prepare business plan on one selected business. Content
of the report should consist :

a) Cover page – 5M
b) Table of Content (pages must be number in Roman numerals (i, ii, etc) – 5M
c) Executive Summary in one paragraph (pages must be number in Roman
numerals (i, ii, etc) -10M
d) Content:

 Introduction
Business Description – 10M and Owner Description -10M

 Administration Plan – 10M


 Marketing Plan – 10M
 Operation Plan - 10M
 Financial Plan -10M

e) Appendix -10 M
f) Overall Report (Spelling, Sentence Structure and Grammar) – 10M

D) Group Video Presentation

 Students are required to prepare video presentation on the business plan that they
have prepared. Only 1 presenter representing the group.
 5 minutes of video pitching
 Students are able to use PawToon, Record Live Video Presentation, Webinar,
Interactive Video Presentation, etc
 All presentation will be evaluate base on the following criteria: Content, Originality,
Elocution, Videography (Interest), Videography (Clarity) – please refer rubric

Format for Case Study and BMC:

a. Size: A4
b. Font: Times New Roman (12 pts)/ Arial 11
c. 1.5 spacing
d. Length: 2,250 words. (1 page = ±250 words; 1 students = 750 words;
Total pages = ±9 pages)
e. Margin: Top: 1 in; Bottom 1 in; Right 1 in; Left 1.5 in
f. Content pages should have page numbers.
