RAD Pneumatic Series
The RAD Pneumatic Series of nut runners are the most advanced pneumatic torque guns on
the market today. With an accuracy of +/- 4% and repeatability of +/-2% all tools in the range
have the highest power to weight ratio of any torque gun on the market. The RAD Pneumatic
Series is separated into several distinct categories that have been specially engineered
to suit different environments and market requirements. A stall type tool with no impacting
results in a smooth continuous application of torque, eliminating destructive hammering and
reducing operator fatigue to leading increased productivity.

STANDARD SERIES
Designed for extreme duty use in a variety of industrial applications these torque guns
are single speed units that stall on final torque. All RAD Guns are non-impacting and
unlike impact wrenches apply a smooth continuous torque eliminating destructive
hammering and reducing operator strain and increasing productivity. The RAD
Standard Series Pneumatic Torque Wrenches offer a reliable and dependable solution
for controlled bolting environments.

HIGH SPEED SERIES

Similar to the Standard Series of RAD Nut runners the High Speed
Series offers all of the same advantages of the best power to weight ratio of any tool
on the market today, coupled with an Automatic Two Speed gearbox.
This gearbox is ideal for nuts and bolts with a long rundown. The high speed feature
will run the fastener down up to five times faster than a standard tool and then once
a snug torque is sensed, the tool automatically switches into the standard speed for
controlled final tightening.

Wheel Nut Bolting Series

These tools were designed with one job in mind! Wheel-nut bolting for light and heavy duty
applications where torque control is a must. The nose extension is designed to reach into
the rim, keeping the operators hands safely outside. RTS are able to manufacture custom
reaction arms to suit all rim styles and brands. The Wheel Master as it has become
known, is a tool developed specifically for the tightening of wheel nuts on trucks, buses
and commercial vehicles up to 700ft.lbs. With a special slave style reaction to eliminate
dangerous pinch points that protects the wheel nuts and prevents damage to the rim,
making it the ultimate wheel fitting tool.

Battery Powered Torque Series
Taking bolting to the next level the RAD Battery Series of tools have been engineered to bring
unmatched power, versatility and reliability in a portable easy to use battery powered torque gun.

Available in several configurations to suit multiple applications, the Battery Series of tools offer
the perfect mobile solution to controlled bolting. There are two options in the Battery Series of
tools, the manual B-RAD Select which enables the user to manually select the torque required in
steps of 10ft.lbs or 10Nm through the calibrated range of the tool. The Digital B-RAD enables the
user to select exact torque values through the calibrated range as well as save common torque
values that are used on a regular basis. Both options come fully calibrated and certified to +/- 5%
with two 18V lithium Ion batteries, charger and carry case.

Electric Torque Series
The V-RAD Series is a new generation of electric torque wrench used for the installation or
removal of heavy duty fasteners where accuracy, power and safety are required. This series
comes without the hassle of air hoses and simply runs when plugged into a 220/240 Volt
electric power supply or generator. There are three versions in the range, a manual V-RAD
which is controlled by a limited number of torque presets,V-RAD Select controlled by two
buttons and a screen with increments of ten and the Digital V-RAD which allows the user to
define the exact torque required.

All options come fully calibrated and certified to +/- 5% with a reaction arm and carry case.

SAFETY VALVE
The Operator Safety Valve “OSV” is a retro fit accessory that can be fitted to any pneumatic RAD tool and is
guaranteed to keep the operators hands away from the reaction arm which equates for 99% of pinch point injuries.
Once the “OSV” is fitted to the tool, the operator must only operate the unit using both hands. One hand on the
conventional trigger and the other on the OSV secondary trigger, located at the back of the tool ensuring both hands
are away from the reaction arm.

TRIGGER GUARDS
Designed to protect the operators hand whilst in use and eliminate the risk of potentially “bumping” the trigger leading
to accidentally operating the tool whilst aligning the tool on the job. The new range of custom trigger guards (CTG) are

Hydraulic Wrench Accessories
POWER PACK PUMPS

RTS are pleased to offer the Power Team Range of Hydraulic Torque Wrench pumps to accompany the Torsion X
Range of Hydraulic Torque Wrenches. With Electric and Pneumatic powered pumps available we are able to provide
the required power pack for all hydraulic controlled bolting applications. Power Team Pumps have been continually
up-graded for over 40 years; some of the originals are still in service! To meet market needs, PT Hydraulics and Power
Team have modified the standard Torque Wrench Pumps, both Air and Electric powered.

These new pumps still retain the famous 55 Series Pump but have a new valve to compliment the everlasting pump. The
new valve is a single solenoid cartridge style 4 Position, 2 Way valve with an adjustable “B” port relief valve. The new
pumps are set for single tool operation as standard however can be fitted with a manifold for 4-Tool operation.

RTS have a fully equipped laboratory that is able to calibrate manual torque wrenches to International Standards, but
understand that some clients have enough torque wrenches in their fleet to warrant having their own equipment for
service and calibration.

DIAL TYPE WRENCHES

Dial Torque Wrenches are designed to verify or monitor torque in order to ensure process conformity, product
safety and absolute reliability. The slave pointer on the dial captures the finishing torque applied to a fastener
with a memory pointer. These low cost, durable and versatile tools can be used for maintenance, repair, quality
control and assembly in any engineering or manufacturing environment.

DIGITAL CLICK TYPE WRENCHES

The RTS range of Digital Torque wrenches are the perfect solution for the technician looking for the ultimate in torque
control. The exact torque required can be set on the tool and the user is notified with both an audible and visual signal
once the required torque is achieved.

The RTS Digital Torque Wrenches also have memory to record the torque values that have been applied enabling the
user to print out a report at the end of the job for full traceability.

All RTS Digital Torque Wrenches come with torque and angle measurement as standard allowing the user to apply snug
torque and final angle for critical joints such as cylinder head bolts. Both torque and angle readings are stored within the
wrench memory and can be viewed on the tool or printed via a PC on completion. All tools are supplied with a traceable
calibration certificate for both torque and angle in a weather-proof plastic case.
