    ACTIVITY DESIGN

    BARANGAY-BASED
    LINGGO NG KABATAAN CELEBRATION

    I. RATIONALE

    Section 2 of Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform
    Act of 2015, provides that “the State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and
    thus, promotes and protects their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being,
    inculcates in them patriotism, nationalism and other desirable values, and encourages their
    involvement in public and civic affairs.” Thus, to uphold the policy of the state and the objectives of
    RA 10742, as well as for Sangguniang Kabataan to effectively exercise their powers and discharge
    their duties specified in Section 13 of the aforesaid Act, the SK Barangay Cosocos is conducting a
    LINGGO NG KABATAAN CELEBRATION with the theme “YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR GLOBAL ACTION”
    on September 11-13, 2020.

    II. OBJECTIVES

    At the end of the activity, the participants are expected to:

    1. Enhance their knowledge on their duties and functions as the youth of the new
    generation;
    2. Develop camaraderie and cohesiveness; and
    3. Develop their leadership capabilities.

    III. TARGET PARTICIPANTS

    The Sangguniang Kabataan Cosocos Chapter aged 15-30 are encouraged to participate.

    IV. CONTENT

    September 11-12
     Zumba
     Community Service
     Sport Fest

    September 13, 2020


     Awarding (with the assurance of social distancing and wearing of face masks
    and/or face shields)

    V. IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGIES

    The activity will be done in three days, to be facilitated by the SK of Barangay Cosocos. The
    expenses shall be charged to the 10% SK funds of the said barangay.

    The presentation of competition and said activities will be utilized in face-to-face/physically


    by obeying all the protocols to ensure the attainment of the objectives of this activity without
    compromising the health of those concerned.

    VI. IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGIES

    The presentation of the aforementioned activities will be executed physically.

    VII. DATE AND VENUE

    The said SK Linggo ng Kabataan contests and activities will be executed physically from
    September 11-12, and the awarding will be on September 13 at Barangay Cosocos Nagbukel
    Covered Court.

    VIII. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

    The budgetary requirements for the activity will be funded/charged from the 10% SK Fund of
    Barangay Cosocos.

    Tarpaulin - Php. 500.00


    Snacks - Php. 1,500.00
    Prices - Php. 8,000.00
    TOTAL =Php.10,000.00
