Information is constantly changing; therefore, it cannot be considered unquestionable.
ALBANIA

• Borders are open with restrictions of a mandatory 14-day quarantine for all travellers
coming from Great Britain.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within 72
hours prior to arrival for all passengers coming from the USA. Alternatively, travellers may
provide documentation from a licensed care provider stating that they have recovered from
COVID-19 at least 90 days before traveling.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for travellers from all other countries.
• All Hotels and other touristic accommodations are open for travellers
• Libraries and Museums are open.
• Restaurants and Bars are open with social distancing guidelines in place. Establishments
are closed between 22:00 and 06:00, except for delivery services.
• Public transportation has resumed with 50% of the capacity occupied, all passengers
must wear masks and use hand sanitizer, and maintain social distance where possible.
• Vaccination process has started.

ARGENTINA
*NO CHANGE since newsletter of 28th April
• Borders are open with restrictions (complete an affidavit within 48 hours of the trip, a
negative PCR test, a COVID 19 insurance covering hospital care in Argentina for the duration
of the trip) starting October 30 for tourism purposes for residents of Uruguay, Brazil,
Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile. The gateway to the territory will be Ezeiza International Airport
(Buenos Aires) only, as well as the Buquebus port terminal (Port of Buenos Aires).
• Borders are open with restrictions of 14 days quarantine for the rest of the countries
not mentioned.
• Hotels – there are some already open but health measures must be taken.
• Restaurants: Outdoor restaurants in Buenos Aires under protocols from 8 August 2020.
• Vaccination process has started.

AUSTRIA

• Borders are open with no restrictions for Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia,
Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San
Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican City, Australia, Israel, New Zealand,
Singapore, South Korea
• Borders are open with restrictions for all below countries:
▪ Croatia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Sweden, and Cyprus. In case the passengers from these
countries can show proof of vaccination or past infection, they do not need to self-isolate. If
only a negative PCR test is presented, passengers need to quarantine for 10 days (can take
test after 5 days to end quarantine early in case of negative results).
▪ Brazil, India, and South Africa passengers can only enter Austria for business travel or
medical reasons. Also, they need to present a negative PCR test (NOT antigen test) no older
than 72 hours prior to arrival, followed by a 10-day quarantine period which can end after 5
days if they take a PCR test.
• Airports open, however, a landing ban for flights from Brazil, India, and South Africa is in
effect.
• Hotels are open but health and social measures are in place. Passengers must show a
negative COVID test or proof of vaccination/past infection and wear a FFP2 mask in all public
areas. Valid entry test is required for using hotel restaurant. Every 48 hours, you will be able
to take a monitored self-test directly at your hotel.
• Shops, museums, culture and leisure facilities are open. Events can take place again
under strict protective measures.
• Restaurants are open until 22:00, but with health measures and restrictions in place.
Passengers need to register, show proof of vaccination/past infection or negative COVID test,
and are required to wear FFP2 masks if they are away from their designated table. Max group
size for indoors – 4 adults plus children, for outdoors – 10 people. Eating or drinking is
allowed only if seated, and not allowed at the bar.

BELGIUM

• Passengers must fill in a Passenger Locator Form in the 48 hours before you arrive in
Belgium. This form must be filled in by anybody travelling to Belgium by plane or by boat,
except those staying less than 48 hours in Belgium, and those returning to Belgium after a
stay of less than 48 hours abroad. Foreign travellers to Belgium must present a negative
Covid test proof to enter the country (test carried out within two days prior to the trip).
• Airlines - A negative COVID-19 test certificate to be checked before departing.
Operation at Brussels Zaventem Airport is resumed with limited capacity.
• Hotels are open; however, it is recommended for you to check the opening of chosen
hotel before arrival. Other accommodations such as bed & breakfast or youth hostels also
welcome guests.
• Museums are open but reservations are needed. Guided tours are organized with a
maximum of 25 people. Bookshops, libraries, media and games libraries are open to the
public. Cinemas, theatres and concert halls remain closed.
• Restaurants and cafes are open from 08:00 until 22:00, but only the outdoors. Take
away is available until 22:00.
• Vaccination has started.

BRAZIL

• Partial and ephemeral confinement in Brazil (closing times of certain advanced stores,
restaurants only working in Delivery, etc.).
• Borders are open with the restriction of negative COVID-19 test carried out 72 hours
before the flight for all countries including Brazilians\ citizens.
• Entry into the country is only possible by air, it is not possible to enter by land or sea.

• Airports are open and operating with certain restrictions. GOL is considering the
possibility of resuming international flights in June. Tam flies over Frankfurt, Assunción,
Madrid, New York, México, Miami and Montevideo. Aeromexico flight over Mexico City. Air
China has suspended its São Paulo / Madrid / Pequin flights until June 30. Air Europa flies
from Madrid to São Paulo. Air France flies from Paris to São Paulo every day, and from Paris
to Rio de Janeiro 4 times a week. American Airlines flies over Miami, Dallas, and New York.
Copa Airlines flies from Panama to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Porto
Alegre and Manaus. Delta Airlines flies to Atlanta and New York from São Paulo. Emirates
flies from São Paulo to Dubai. Iberia flies over Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. KLM flies to Rio
de Janeiro and São Paulo Lufthansa flies from Frankfurt to São Paulo. Qatar Airways flies
from Doba to São Paulo. Turkish Airlines flies from São Paulo to Istanbul. United flies over
Houston, New York and Chicago.
• Most hotels are open and operating but health measures must be takes. Some hotels
will no longer provide buffet breakfasts, others will have employees serving the buffet.
• Restaurants are open with 50% occupancy rate rule and basic hygiene protocols will be
maintained.
• Vaccination process has started.

BULGARIA
• According to the new orders of the Bulgaria's Health Minister issued on the 29th of April,
the state of emergency in the country is extended until the 31st of May.
• All passengers entering the territory of Bulgaria, regardless of their citizenship, are
allowed entry if they present one of the following documents. Otherwise, a 10-day
quarantine is required, with the possibility of shortening the period if a negative PCR test or
fast antigen test is done no later than 24 hours after the entry in Bulgaria.
▪ Proof of completed vaccination against the COVID-19 stating that the 2nd dose of
the vaccine has been taken at least 14 days prior to entering the country.
▪ A certificate that shows a negative PCR test done no more than 72 hours before
arrival or a fast antigen test done no more than 48 hours before arrival test result.

▪ A document proving a past COVID infection result (positive PCR test or a rapid
antigen test for the period from the 15th to the 180th day from the date of the
test).
• Border are closed for passengers coming from India, Brazil, Bangladesh, South Africa,
Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Namibia. All Bulgarian citizens entering the territory after
staying in one of the above countries must self-isolate for 10 days at home or at an adequate
accommodation.
• Airports are open. Bulgarian citizens, as well as individuals with a long-term, prolonged
and permanent residence status and their family members who enter the country without
presenting a document for a negative result from a PCR test taken within 72 hours before
entry into Bulgaria are subject to a 10-day quarantine. Quarantine may be revoked upon
presentation of a negative PCR test result performed within 24 hours from entry into
Bulgaria.
• Hotels are open but with precautionary measures. Food in the hotels is served only with
room-service. Hotel facilities such as SPAs, Wellness are closed.
• Cinemas, theatres, circus performances, cultural festivals, concerts, stage events,
museums, galleries, libraries, dance, creative and music classes are open and must operate
at 30% capacity. Social distancing rules and health measures are in place.
• Restaurants are open with limited working hours from 06:00 until 23:00 and with 50%
occupancy restrictions.
• Vaccination process has started.

CANADA
• US - Canada International Border closure for non-essential travel is extended until 21
June 2021. All travellers entering Canada have to follow a 14-day strict quarantine.
• Borders are open with restrictions for rest of the countries: documentation of a negative
PCR test taken within 72 hours before boarding a flight to Canada must be presented to the
airline. Even if travellers are vaccinated a negative test is still required. Upon arrival in

Canada, all travellers will be tested again and need to isolate in government approved hotels
until test results come in. The stay is at their own expense. In case of a positive result
travellers will need to continue isolating at the hotels at their own expense until a negative
test is received. Negative tested travellers will still need to quarantine for 14 days and test
again in 10 days.
• Canadian airlines have cancelled all direct flights from India and Pakistan for 30 days.
• Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver airports have restricted the international
flights.
• Hotels are open and operating under strict COVID-19 protocols. Many hotels close to
Airports and land border posts have been designated to take travellers for isolation. Most
hotels not offering buffet breakfasts.
• Tourist attractions are closed in major cities with stay at home or lockdown orders.
• Restaurants are only allowing take out
• Vaccination process has started and more than 19.8 million doses were administrated.
International travellers who have been vaccinated still need a negative COVID-19 test and a
mandatory quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in Canada. The government is not planning
to ease travel restrictions until 70% or more of the population is vaccinated.

CHILE

• Dynamic confinement is in place. From March 27th all the metropolitan area of Santiago
is in strict lockdown and 80% of the rest of the country as well.
• Borders are open with restriction of a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before boarding.
Travellers must complete the “Traveller’s Sworn Statement” electronic form up to 48 hours
before boarding, providing contact information, health and location history. This form will
include a QR code as a means of verification. It can be completed at www.c19.cl. Travellers
must undergo by a 10 days quarantine or a negative PCR test taken from the 7th day of
quarantine onwards for all countries, except the United Kingdom.

• Borders are closed for travellers from the United Kingdom and all non-resident
foreigners who have been in the UK in the last 14 days. There is an obligation to all Chileans
and foreigners with residence who return to the country and who have been in the United
Kingdom during the last 14 days must do a compulsory quarantine of 14 days in Chile.
• Airports are opening and operating. Domestic flights are operating and for Chileans
residing in Chile, with an up-to-date health passport and safe conduct issued by the
authority.
• Hotels in communication process for opening during the end of the year, mostly in
October / November.
• Restaurants - Dynamic reopening by community and with 25% of the capacity of the
premises, only in outdoor spaces. Tables with restriction of number of people.
• Vaccination process has started.

CROATIA
• Borders are open with no restrictions for EU/EEA member states and Australia, Japan,
New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay, China and special
administrative regions of the People’s Republic of China – Hong Kong and Macao.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours for
persons coming from third countries, including the US, traveling only for urgent
personal/family matters, business reasons or other economic interest. Persons who do not
present a negative PCR result are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine / self-isolation
measure. Passengers who travel for tourism must send an email to border control stating
their intention to cross state border to [email protected], followed by presenting Proof of
tourism – accommodation proof, travel agency voucher etc. Travellers should be prepared
for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice.
• Airports are open and commercial flights operate without restrictions.
• Hotels are open with necessary imposed health and safety measures. Many hotels offer
free COVID-19 testing.

• Museums & heritage sites are open. All public events, gatherings, and celebrations,
including religious services must end at 22:00. Cinemas, museums, galleries, and churches
must secure 7m2 of space per person.
• Restaurants, café and bars are closed, only catering and deliver is allowed during normal
hours. Alcohol will not be sold from 22:00 to 06:00.
• Vaccination process has started.

CZECH REPUBLIC

• Travel is banned for all non-essential purposes to the Czech Republic, regardless of
which country (green, orange or red) you are travelling from. Exceptions are travel to work,
school, health and social care facilities, necessary trips to family, travel to marriages and
funerals.
• Prague Main Airport is constantly updating the list of resumed and announced routes
on its webpage.
• All hotels and hostels are open, only for business travellers, not tourists. As from 24
May, hotel fully reopened for public.
• Museums, galleries, heritage sites, exhibition spaces, fairs, castles and chateaux may
open under strict sanitary conditions and social distancing rules. Group tours are banned.
• Restaurants and bars can open their outdoors locations under strict health measures
from 06:00 until 22:00. Guests have to show either a negative test for coronavirus, a
vaccination certificate stating its holder was vaccinated 14 days prior to enter the restaurant,
or a declaration that the guest was infected with Covid-19, but has already recovered within
the past 90 days.

DENMARK

• Borders are open with restrictions of negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48
hours before departure until the 11th of June. Generally, everyone who wants to enter
Denmark must take a test and subsequently isolate themselves for 10 days.
• Border are open with no restrictions for travellers with completed vaccination from
Finland, Iceland, Malta, Portugal, Romania, certain areas marked as Yellow Regions from
Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain (updated list here)
• Airports are open, safety measures tighten. Fully vaccinated people from the countries
above are excluded, as well as travellers who have previously been infected with Covid-19
and who can present a positive PCR test that is between 14 and 180 days old.
• Hotels are open with strict hygiene and safety regulations in place.
• Coronapas is required for the entry to museums, art galleries, libraries.
• Restaurants are open until 23:00. Alcohol will not be served after 22:00. For indoor
service, a corona passport must be presented as well as table reservation no later than 30
minutes prior to arrival.
• Vaccination process has started and 19.8% of population has been fully vaccinated.

ESTONIA
• Borders are open with no restrictions for Estonian citizens and residents whether they
are symptomatic or not, citizens from Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland,
Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, United
Kingdom and Vatican and asymptomatic individuals with a long-stay visa and their family
members.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a 10 days quarantine for Andorra, Austria, Belgium,
Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,

Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. (updated list
every Friday).
• Airlines - Tallinn Airport has opened a corona virus testing facility for air passengers
arriving from destinations, listed as risk countries. Arriving passengers are tested using the
PCR method. The test at the Tallinn Airport costs €60. Testing is voluntary.
• Hotels are open.
• Museums and exhibition halls are open from 06:00 until 19:00 but operating under the 2
+ 2 rule and with 25% occupancy restriction. Indoor group tours and audience programmes
are not allowed, except for students of the same class that are allowed to resume contact
learning and for children of the same kindergarten group. The public indoor spaces of
all theatres, cinemas and conference facilities, children’s playrooms, bowling and pool halls,
night clubs, casinos etc must be closed for visitors
• Restaurant outdoors areas are open until 21:00. Tables must be arranged in accordance
with the 50% occupancy restriction and the 2 + 2 rule applicable to outdoor dining areas. The
maximum number of people per table is 10. Customers are still not allowed to eat and
drink indoors in the sales and service halls of catering establishments. Take-away is allowed.

FINLAND
• Borders are open with no restrictions for Vatican, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, New
Zealand South Korea and Rwanda.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a COVID-19 test less than 72 hours before arriving,
followed by a recommended 14 days self-isolation. A second test can be taken in Finland no
earlier than 72 hours after arriving in Finland. Between the tests, self-isolation at the place
of accommodation is recommended. The self-isolation period will end if the second test
result is negative. If a person's test result is positive, a mandatory quarantine must be
completed until full recovery. Restrictions will be lifted for residents of China and for Hong
Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions who are traveling to Finland, provided that

reciprocity is confirmed by the Council of the European Union. At the moment only essential
travel (not leisure) is possible from these countries.
• All travellers arriving in Finland from Corona risk countries are tested for the
coronavirus.
• Airports are open with health restrictions. Airports and ports may test passengers with
possible coronavirus symptoms.
• Hotels and other services for travellers may not be widely open – please check with your
chosen service provider for the availability of their service and any specific safety
considerations.
• Sights and attractions are generally open, however, please check their websites for up-
to-date information on opening times any specific safety considerations.
• Restaurants open until 19:00, bars until 18:00, but alcohol can be served until 17:00.
Other restrictions are in place as well.

FRANCE

• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before
boarding a plane or boat for travellers from within the EU, + as well as Andorra, the Holy See,
Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before
boarding a plane or boat, a 7 days self-isolation upon arrival, followed by a second PCR test
after 2-7 days for travellers from Australia, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South
Korea or the United Kingdom.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before
boarding a plane or boat and a negative antigen test carried out less than 24 hours before
boarding, a 10 days self-isolation upon arrival for travellers from Argentina, Bangladesh,

Brazil, Chile, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Turkey and the United Arab
Emirates, Bahrein, Colombia, Costa Rica and Uruguay, but only for urgent purposes.
• Passengers from all other countries not listed above are not allowed to enter France
unless they have an exception. Health requirements to enter France (PCR test and sworn
declaration) are needed, followed by self-isolation for 7 days after arrival.
• Airports are open according to the country’s restrictions (see above).
• Hotels are allowed to open.
• Major Tourist Attractions are allowed to open from 19th of May with some restrictions
(one visitor for every 8m²).
• Restaurants and bars are opening only the outside areas with 50% occupancy and a max
of 6 people/table. Clients must be seated, eating and drinking while standing is not allowed,
masks have to be worn in all public areas.
• Vaccination has started. Curfew is in place from 21:00 to 06:00. Masks must be worn at
all times when outside.

GERMANY
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours for EU
countries, Norway and Switzerland for touristic purposes. People from all other countries
are able to enter with a valid reason e.g., family visits or work. Arrival without a negative test
will occur a heavy fine and immediate deportation to country of origin at own cost.
• Airports are open on reduced services.
• Hotels are open but regional laws apply as per incidence numbers in relevant areas.
Baden Wuertemberg (Stuttgart, Black Forest Area), Berlin, Hamburg, Saxony (Dresden,
Leipzig area), Thuringia (Erfurt area) operate for business trip only. State of Bavaria (Munich
area) and Rhineland Pfalz (Mainz region) are open for domestic touristic purposes with
restrictions in place. Hesse (Frankfurt am Main area), Lower Saxony (Hannover area) and
Northrhine-Westphalia (Cologne, Dusseldorf area) allow to offer 60% occupancy in the
hotels. Access to breakfast areas is restricted. Tourists must present proof of a negative PCR
test taken on the same day as check-in day, and wear FFP2 masks in public areas.

• Major Tourist Attractions are opened with regulations in place, and can change on a
daily basis. Other touristic attractions are expected to reopen with restrictions in place within
June the latest.
• Restaurants and bars outside areas are open with health measures and restrictions in
place. Most restaurants require pre-booking. The establishments that do not have enough
space outside remain closed, only take away is allowed.
• Vaccination process has started and numbers of fully vaccinated people are expected to
increase within June/July 2021.

HUNGARY

• Borders are closed until further notice. Hungary adopts its own national classification of
risk areas, hence travel restrictions for Hungary are not based on the common "EU Traffic
Lights" map. Entry from third countries is generally not allowed without a special reason.
• Airport and open, with hygiene and health measures. Flights from / to UK have resumed.
Upon entry, all individuals must agree to undergo a medical examination (temperature
check). In case a suspicion of COVID-19 infection arises during the health examination, the
individual will be refused entry.
• Hotels are open and may only accept guests who are on a business trip, not tourists.
• Museum, theatre, cinema, gym, zoos may be visited only by persons with a certificate
of immunity, children under 18 do not need a card.
• Restaurants and bars outside areas are open, indoors can be used only by guests with a
certificate of immunity.
• Vaccination process has started. 30.4% of the population is fully vaccinated.

ICELAND
• Borders are open with restriction of a negative PCR test (not older than 72 hours) upon
boarding the aircraft, another PCR test upon entering the country, followed by a 5–6-day
quarantine for all countries. All passengers arriving from countries with a high incidence of
the virus will have to undergo quarantine between two mandatory tests in a quarantine
facility. Non-citizens and non-residents without a negative PCR tests will be refused entry at
the border. Unnecessary traveling of people without vaccination or a previous infection of
COVID-19, who don´t live in Iceland, from high-risk countries is prohibited.
• Airports are open with safely restrictions in place, all travellers to Iceland are required
to present a negative PCR test certificate prior to departure and on arrival in Iceland. Rapid
antigen tests are not valid.
• Hotels are open and can accept quarantine guests.
• Performing arts, cinema, theatres and other cultural events may have up to 75 persons
on stage. Up to 150 seated guests may be accommodated. Such guests must wear face
masks. Seats are to be numbered and labelled with the name of the guest.
• Restaurants may remain open to 21:00 on all days but must comply with the 30 guests
with 2 meters between unrelated persons in a shared space where everyone must be
registered and served in seats that are numbered and registered to the name, ID No. and
telephone number of the guest. Take-away meals may be served until 23:00.
• Vaccination process has started.

IRELAND

• Borders are open with restrictions for all international arrivals to Ireland (except arrivals
from Northern Ireland) and are required of negative PCR test carried out no more than 72
hours prior to arrival for all passengers arriving in Ireland (more details).

• Borders are open with restrictions of negative PCR test carried out no more than 72
hours prior to arrival and 14 days mandatory quarantine regardless of the test result for
Africa (Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cape Verde, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini,
Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia,
South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe), Asia (Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Maldives,
Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, The Philippines, United Arab Emirates), Europe (Belgium,
France, Luxembourg, Turkey), North America (Canada, Costa Rica, USA) South America
(Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama,
Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela).

in Venice and Naples, following Milan and Rome, and extending the authorised routes to
flights from Canada, Japan, United Arab Emirates and United States.
• Hotels – they are gradually reopening, most of them are open or ready to open as soon

• Museums and archaeological sites are currently open as all Italian Regions are

JORDAN
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative COVID-19 test performed up to 120
hours prior to arrival to Jordan for all unvaccinated travellers. If travellers are fully
vaccinated, a vaccination certificate will suffice.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a PCR test required for all passengers (vaccinated
and non-vaccinated) upon arrival to Jordan Airport. All travellers are required to directly
register and pay for a PCR test on the platform linked below for entry. In case of a positive

LITHUANIA

• Nationwide lockdown until May 31st. Lithuania currently allows citizens of European
Economic Area countries and persons lawfully residing in these countries to enter Lithuania.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative test for COVID-19 taken 72 hours at the
earliest before the return or arrival in only for EU / EEC countries.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers or travellers that
have been infected with COVID-19 180 days prior to arrival (must present an English/Czech
medical certificate).
• Before leaving, each passenger arriving in Lithuania must register on the website of the
Lithuanian National Centre for Public Health or the Ministry of Health (identical form) and
present the confirmation (QR code) upon boarding the plane.

have a negative test for COVID-19 performed before arrival in Lithuania will be registered

LUXEMBOURG

• Borders are open with restrictions of a pre-departure negative PCR test taken within 72
hours prior to departure for Citizens of the European Union and of the countries associated
with the Schengen area, as well as citizens of San Marino, Andorra, Monaco and the
Vatican/Saint See, as well Australia, China, New Zeeland, Rwanda, South Korea, Singapore
and Thailand. Third-country nationals, except the ones from the above list, may no longer
enter the territory of the Grand Duchy until 30 June 2021 (inclusive).
• Borders are open with restrictions of a pre-departure negative PCR test taken within 72
hours prior to departure and an additional test for viral antigen (rapid test) on arrival at
Luxembourg airport for the rest of the countries. If no rapid antigen test is taken, a 14-day
quarantine is required, which can be terminated if a negative test result is provided during
that time.
• Airports operate with restrictive measures in place.
• Hotels and other accommodation facilities remain open.
• Cultural institutions are open again to the public, but subject to strict health rules. The
performance venues will be able to accommodate up to 150 spectators wearing masks,
provided that they are assigned a seat and maintain an interpersonal distance of 2 meters if
they do not belong to the same household or cohabit. Museums, art centres, exhibition halls,
archives and libraries will once again be open to the public, with the obligation to wear a
mask.

MEXICO
• Curfews are in place but restrictions vary based on state and/or city.
• All passengers, whether nationals or foreigners, must take their temperature and do a
survey on whether they have had symptoms such as fever, cough, headache or muscle pain,
etc. and must sign this survey validating the veracity of the information given, outside of the
City, each state determines the treatment that is given to each foreign person who enters,
in the airports of the rest of the Mexican republic the requirements are almost the same,
except if the state determines some other.
• Airport is open for all the airlines that are operating, both national and international.
Mexico City’s Benito Juárez International Airport (AICM) has two specially designated areas
(modules) where passengers and crew of international flights can perform COVID-19 tests,
which some countries require for the entry of travellers by air into its territory. The tests are
done at their own expenses (approx. 38 USD for antigen rapid test – results in 15 min, 140
USD for PCR – results in 24 hours). Cancun Airport also has modules located in Terminals 2,
3 and 4.
• Hotels are open with a maximum of 30% occupancy rate. Buffet breakfast is assisted. If
the occupancy of the hotel is low, they will be able to serve Full breakfast at the table.

• Borders are open with restrictions of 14 days quarantine, except travellers who present
a printed negative result from a PCR test conducted less than 72 hours before embarking a
plane or the arrival time at the border if travelling by private means of transportation.

• Hotels are open with no restrictive measures in place.
• Public events in theatres, cinemas and sports arenas are not permitted. Events with
fewer than 50 people are allowed, but cannot take place close to public institutions, schools,

are closed.

NETHERLANDS

• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours prior
to boarding for all high-risk countries, including EU/Schengen countries.
• Birders are open with no restrictions for all travellers from safe countries with a low
COVID-19 risk: Iceland, Portugal, Finland, Malta, Ireland, Spain (only Balearic and Canary
Islands), Greece (North Aegean Region, South Aegean Region and Ionian Islands), Norway
(excluding Olso and Agder county), Australia, New Zeeland, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea,
Thailand, China (mainland), Hong Kong and Macau (only if China lifts the restrictions for
European travellers), Israel.

• The Norwegian Government banned foreigners from entering the country, except for
foreigners residing in Norway and all Norwegian citizens (regardless of where they live).

hours, followed by another test within 24 hours after arrival. Whenever possible, this test
has to be taken at the airport or point of entry to the country. Otherwise, you have to arrange
the test with the local municipality. Testing is free of charge. Testing requirements and
quarantine duty also apply if you have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Norwegian main airports are open, face masks are mandatory.
• Hotels are open, with specific guidelines and healthy measures.

PERU

• Borders are open with restriction of PCR test taken no later than 72 hours prior to arrival,
followed by 14 days quarantine for all Peruvians, foreigner’s resident in Peru and foreign
visitors. If the test is negative, the quarantine is not necessary. The land borders of Peru
remain temporarily closed.
• The entry of non-resident passengers from South Africa, Brazil and/or India or who have
made a stopover in those countries in the last 14 days is suspended until May 30.
• Hotels are allowed to open as long as they comply with all the biosafety protocols issued
by the Ministry of Health.

POLAND

• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result performed
before crossing the border and within 48 hours from the moment of reception of the test
result for any person crossing the border, for all travellers coming from Schengen area.
Travelers who have been quarantined in Poland will be able to take a test, the negative result
of which will release them from quarantine.

and safety measures.
• Museums and heritage sites are open. The government is still suggesting the wearing of
masks in public indoor spaces, 2 metres distancing. Theatres and cinemas will close at 17:00

• Face coverings are mandatory indoors and on public transport, as well as outdoors if
contact with other people cannot be avoided. All facilities must provide a minimum of 9 m2
per person or visitor.

SLOVAKIA

• Borders are open with restrictions of mandatory self-isolation at home or in a quarantine


accommodation for 14 days, which can be ended on day 8 of isolation at the earliest, if the
traveller gets tested for COVID-19 and results negative for the countries of the European
Union, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Great Britain or Northern Ireland.
Vaccinated persons and persons who have passed COVID 19 don’t have to wait during the
domestic quarantine to perform the PCR test 8 days after return, but can undergo testing at
any time after return from abroad.

Schengen Area with an organisation or individual recognised by the Institute of Microbiology
and Immunology and the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food as suitable
and credible and have been published on the National Laboratory of Health, Environment
and Food website.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for travellers from “green list” countries or those
who have proof of vaccination against COVID-19. It is required that vaccination took place in
EU+ count country and that the 2nd dose has been administrated at least:

• All countries not mentioned are currently not allowed to enter.
• Airports GVA, BASEL and ZRH are open (Lugano airport has closed). Flights from all over
the EU are flying directly into Swiss airports multiple times daily.
• Hotels are open, especially in ski resorts. Several 4* and 5* hotels in big cities are closed
until end of May, or until restrictions are lifted for indoors gathering and restaurants
reopening. Wellness facilities and pools of hotel facilities are also open to hotel guests.
• Most attractions are reopened with capacity restrictions. Cable cars, trains in the
mountain and ski areas, are operating in strict compliance with the safety protocols. Masks
are compulsory not only in the closed cable car cabins, but also on open-air lifts (chair lifts,
drag lifts) and in all queuing areas. Only two thirds of maximum capacity is permitted in all
closed forms of transport, such as trains, gondolas and cable cars. This applies to seating and
standing room. Publicly accessible leisure and entertainment facilities such as museums,
zoos, libraries and reading rooms, archives, cinemas, swimming pools, outdoor sports
facilities and fitness centres (with limited pax number). Wellness facilities and pools of hotel
facilities are also open to hotel guests.
• Restaurants and bars are closed, except take away. Exceptions are outdoors and
terraces, restaurants in hotels for hotel guests, which are open under strict adherence to
protection concepts: guests must be seated (no more than 4 people per table, except for
families with children), in strict compliance with precautionary measures. A mask must be
worn indoors and outdoors (except when sitting at a table). Consumption may only take
place in a seated position. Dance halls and discotheques are closed.
• Vaccination process has started and more than 1.4 million people have been fully
vaccinated so far. 4.8 million people have started the vaccination process and the plan is to
vaccinate 6 million people by summer.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
• Borders are open with restrictions of a printed negative PCR test (in English or Arabic)
valid for 48 hours for all countries. Some customers might be required to take another test
upon arrival. All countries are allowed to enter, except passengers from India. This could be
further extended depending on the COVID situation. However, Indian nationals can enter
UAE via private jets – max occupancy is 8 persons per aircraft/private jets. Exemptions are
also done for the UAE long-term residence VISA holders (also named Golden visa – 10 years).
Alternatively, Indians can also enter the UAE via another country, provided they have
quarantined for a minimum of 14 days in that country. PCR test is compulsory before
entering the UAE and must be valid for 48 hours.
• Dubai Airport has extended the travel ban on international flights to and from India until
14th June. Only Terminals 2 and 3 are operational at the moment. On arrival, tourists must
download and register on the COVID-19 DXB Smart App.
• Abu Dhabi airport: travellers need to quarantine for 10 days, except the ones from
“green-list” countries: Australia, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Cuba, Germany,
Greenland, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Mauritius, Moldova,
Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain,
Switzerland, Taiwan (ROC), Tajikistan, United Kingdom, United States of America,
Uzbekistan. Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, they will be required to undergo PCR testing. The list
also only applies to countries from where passengers are arriving from, rather than
citizenship. More information can be found on www.visitabudhabi.com.
• Hotels are open and can have 100% occupancy.
• Most Major Tourist Attractions are open and allow 100% occupancy. Water themed
parks, Dubai Parks and Resorts implemented their own rules and operate at only 50%
occupancy. Dubai Museum remains closed until further notice. Strict social distancing are
maintained. Contactless payments are required. People caught without a mask are fined
$822 per person.
• All Restaurants and bars are operational at 70% capacity and allow max 10 people/table.
• Entertainment facilities are operational at 70% occupancy.
• Vaccination: Anyone who is attending social events, weddings, music concerts,
community sports events have to be vaccinated. All passengers exiting the UAE airports
needs to produce a COVID-19 negative test when returning to home country. This is

chargeable and most hotels and DMS provide this for a cost. Some hotels provide free testing
for a minimum stay period in their hotels. The UAE is now the number one in the world when
it comes to Covid-19 vaccination rates. As on Sunday, May 23, the country has administered
over 12.1 million vaccine doses. This takes the rate of doses to 122.39 per 100 people.

French Guiana, Guyana, India, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Mozambique, Namibia,
Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Rwanda, Seychelles,
Somalia, South Africa, Suriname, Tanzania, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Uruguay, Venezuela,
Zambia, Zimbabwe. ***(except for British or Irish National, or those with residence rights in
the UK – they will be able to enter but must quarantine in a government approved hotel for
10 days)
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours prior
to departure, 2 COVID-19 tests after arriving (need to be book before travelling), and 10 days
quarantine in the place they’re staying or in a managed quarantine hotel for all international
arrivals, except above list. Visitors can also choose to pay for an additional private COVID-19
test after day 5, if the result is negative, they can stop quarantining.
• Main airports are open and airlines are operating with reduced schedules.
• Hotels are open.
• Tourist Attractions are open, both outdoors and indoors, with group size restrictions,
capacity control and social distancing measures.
• Restaurants and Bars are open as of the 17th of May, both outdoors and indoors, with
group size restrictions, capacity control and social distancing measures.
• Vaccination is has started. As of the 24th of May, around 38 million people have received
1st dose (around 56% of the entire UK population), around 23 million people have received
2nd dose.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

• Restrictions, service opening and closures in the U.S. vary by state and sometimes even
by county. There are no national policies in place that are the same across the continent. The
CDC (Centers for Disease Control) has announced that fully vaccinated people in the U.S. can
resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by
federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business
and workplace guidance. Masks are still required for local mass transportation and flights.
• The U.S./Canadian border remains closed for all non-essential travel and has recently
been extended through 21 June 2021 partly due to the spike of COVID cases in Canada. This
regulation will be updated monthly. Essential cross-border workers such as health care
professionals, airline crews and truck drivers will still be permitted to cross.
• Airlines – International and domestic airlines are operating on reduced schedules though
additional flights have recently been added. Specific international flight to certain countries
are now available for fully vaccinated passengers only. All travellers are still required to wear
a face-covering with no vents and that fully covers their nose and mouth. Face coverings must
be worn during the entire flight and in the airport. Upon arrival, travellers must follow local
quarantine guidelines or vaccination requirements. Travellers from the following countries
are currently prohibited from entry to the United States with exceptions of U.S. citizens,
foreign national parents, siblings of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

▪ European Schengen area (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia,
Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein,

Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City)
• In most cases travellers must show proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours
of their flight arrival.
• Most hotels are open with COVID restrictions in place with limited occupancy and safety
protocols based on CDC recommendations and local regulations. Procedures across hotel
brands have included the production of branded signage stating the new safety precautions
in place, promoting social distancing and are offering hand sanitizing stations positioned
throughout public areas. Many front-desk areas also have partitions in place to provide a
physical barrier between guests and staff and many hotels are requiring face masks for both

staff and guests in public areas. All the brands have increased the frequency in which they
clean high-touch areas in public spaces and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of rooms.
Health and Safety protocols for each hotel chain can be found on their website.
• Most Tourist Attractions have reopened with reservation requirements and in some
cases limit capacity based on state and county regulations. G2 Travel is compiling a list for all
commonly used attractions, by city, that will be made available once completed
• Restaurants are open in most states for outdoor dining or pick-up/take-out only. Many
states now have indoor dining with reduced capacity and early curfew hours but some of
these restrictions are being lifted in various states. As COVID cases fluctuate restrictions will
be updated. In most areas seating is limited to 6 people per table with a maximum of 2
households. A minimum of 6 feet (2 meters) distance is required between tables and masks
must be worn when not seated in most states.
• In some States bars, dance clubs, entertainment venues, breweries and wineries remain
closed, with limited capacity or outdoor service only, however these restrictions are currently
being lifted based on CDC guidelines in many states.
• National Parks - The various National Parks are tightening their access rules for
commercial groups. Each access restriction varies by park and is subject to the jurisdiction of
the current Park Superintendent, therefore different for Yellowstone over Yosemite over
Grand Canyon and so on. Grand Canyon, in particular, had announced in the past that it will
limit its commercial permits to 84 coach companies that have actively run tours through the
summer of 2020 but has reconsidered and is now allowing additional coach companies and
tour operators to submit applications for approval. All tours will be quoted under the
assumption that access rules and permit costs remain as 2020, which was previously
communicated by the NPS. When in fact border are back open and operation stage nears, we
will advise of restriction in place more in detail and solve access on a case-by-case basis.
• Vaccinations – The U.S. has approved both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines which
require two doses. In addition, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine has also been approved
which requires a single dose. More than half of Americans received their first shot and
vaccinations are now available to children as young as 12. As of May 22, approximately 40%
of the US population has been fully vaccinated and approximately 60% have received their
first vaccination.
• California – With one of the nation’s highest vaccination rates and lowest case rates,
nearly all of California is open to welcome visitors, though this will pertain to domestic
travellers as the borders remain closed for international tourists. All restrictions except those
for conventions of more than 5,000 attendees are scheduled to lift state-wide on June 15.

California has issued a travel advisory that recommends caution and suggests self-
quarantines for unvaccinated visitors from out of state and Californians returning to the state,
but those steps are not mandatory. Public health officials have directed everyone in California
to continue to wear face coverings in congested indoor and outdoor situations.
• New York – As May 20, 62.7 percent of adult New Yorkers have completed at least one
vaccine dose and 53.5 percent of adult New Yorkers completing their vaccine series. Vaccines
are now available for all residents ages 12 years and older. May 19th marked a milestone in
the fight against COVID. New York adopted the CDC's updated guidance on masks and social
distancing and many business capacity restrictions have been lifted. This major reopening of
the state means fully vaccinated individuals no longer need to use a face covering in most
public places. The Broadway League announces that Broadway shows in New York City will
resume ticket sales this month for fall 2021 performances. Broadway shows can resume
performances at 100% capacity as of September. Restaurants also are now allowed to provide
indoor dining at 100% capacity.
