COVID-19
Update
• Borders are open with restrictions of a mandatory 14-day quarantine for all travellers
coming from Great Britain.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within 72
hours prior to arrival for all passengers coming from the USA. Alternatively, travellers may
provide documentation from a licensed care provider stating that they have recovered from
COVID-19 at least 90 days before traveling.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for travellers from all other countries.
• All Hotels and other touristic accommodations are open for travellers
• Libraries and Museums are open.
• Restaurants and Bars are open with social distancing guidelines in place. Establishments
are closed between 22:00 and 06:00, except for delivery services.
• Public transportation has resumed with 50% of the capacity occupied, all passengers
must wear masks and use hand sanitizer, and maintain social distance where possible.
• Vaccination process has started.
ARGENTINA
*NO CHANGE since newsletter of 28th April
• Borders are open with restrictions (complete an affidavit within 48 hours of the trip, a
negative PCR test, a COVID 19 insurance covering hospital care in Argentina for the duration
of the trip) starting October 30 for tourism purposes for residents of Uruguay, Brazil,
Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile. The gateway to the territory will be Ezeiza International Airport
(Buenos Aires) only, as well as the Buquebus port terminal (Port of Buenos Aires).
• Borders are open with restrictions of 14 days quarantine for the rest of the countries
not mentioned.
• Hotels – there are some already open but health measures must be taken.
• Restaurants: Outdoor restaurants in Buenos Aires under protocols from 8 August 2020.
• Vaccination process has started.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia,
Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San
Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican City, Australia, Israel, New Zealand,
Singapore, South Korea
• Borders are open with restrictions for all below countries:
▪ Croatia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Sweden, and Cyprus. In case the passengers from these
countries can show proof of vaccination or past infection, they do not need to self-isolate. If
only a negative PCR test is presented, passengers need to quarantine for 10 days (can take
test after 5 days to end quarantine early in case of negative results).
▪ Brazil, India, and South Africa passengers can only enter Austria for business travel or
medical reasons. Also, they need to present a negative PCR test (NOT antigen test) no older
than 72 hours prior to arrival, followed by a 10-day quarantine period which can end after 5
days if they take a PCR test.
• Airports open, however, a landing ban for flights from Brazil, India, and South Africa is in
effect.
• Hotels are open but health and social measures are in place. Passengers must show a
negative COVID test or proof of vaccination/past infection and wear a FFP2 mask in all public
areas. Valid entry test is required for using hotel restaurant. Every 48 hours, you will be able
to take a monitored self-test directly at your hotel.
• Shops, museums, culture and leisure facilities are open. Events can take place again
under strict protective measures.
• Restaurants are open until 22:00, but with health measures and restrictions in place.
Passengers need to register, show proof of vaccination/past infection or negative COVID test,
and are required to wear FFP2 masks if they are away from their designated table. Max group
size for indoors – 4 adults plus children, for outdoors – 10 people. Eating or drinking is
allowed only if seated, and not allowed at the bar.
• Vaccination process has started.

• Passengers must fill in a Passenger Locator Form in the 48 hours before you arrive in
Belgium. This form must be filled in by anybody travelling to Belgium by plane or by boat,
except those staying less than 48 hours in Belgium, and those returning to Belgium after a
stay of less than 48 hours abroad. Foreign travellers to Belgium must present a negative
Covid test proof to enter the country (test carried out within two days prior to the trip).
• Airlines - A negative COVID-19 test certificate to be checked before departing.
Operation at Brussels Zaventem Airport is resumed with limited capacity.
• Hotels are open; however, it is recommended for you to check the opening of chosen
hotel before arrival. Other accommodations such as bed & breakfast or youth hostels also
welcome guests.
• Museums are open but reservations are needed. Guided tours are organized with a
maximum of 25 people. Bookshops, libraries, media and games libraries are open to the
public. Cinemas, theatres and concert halls remain closed.
• Restaurants and cafes are open from 08:00 until 22:00, but only the outdoors. Take
away is available until 22:00.
• Vaccination has started.
BRAZIL
• Partial and ephemeral confinement in Brazil (closing times of certain advanced stores,
restaurants only working in Delivery, etc.).
• Borders are open with the restriction of negative COVID-19 test carried out 72 hours
before the flight for all countries including Brazilians\ citizens.
• Entry into the country is only possible by air, it is not possible to enter by land or sea.
BULGARIA
• According to the new orders of the Bulgaria's Health Minister issued on the 29th of April,
the state of emergency in the country is extended until the 31st of May.
• All passengers entering the territory of Bulgaria, regardless of their citizenship, are
allowed entry if they present one of the following documents. Otherwise, a 10-day
quarantine is required, with the possibility of shortening the period if a negative PCR test or
fast antigen test is done no later than 24 hours after the entry in Bulgaria.
▪ Proof of completed vaccination against the COVID-19 stating that the 2nd dose of
the vaccine has been taken at least 14 days prior to entering the country.
▪ A certificate that shows a negative PCR test done no more than 72 hours before
arrival or a fast antigen test done no more than 48 hours before arrival test result.
CANADA
• US - Canada International Border closure for non-essential travel is extended until 21
June 2021. All travellers entering Canada have to follow a 14-day strict quarantine.
• Borders are open with restrictions for rest of the countries: documentation of a negative
PCR test taken within 72 hours before boarding a flight to Canada must be presented to the
airline. Even if travellers are vaccinated a negative test is still required. Upon arrival in
CHILE
• Dynamic confinement is in place. From March 27th all the metropolitan area of Santiago
is in strict lockdown and 80% of the rest of the country as well.
• Borders are open with restriction of a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before boarding.
Travellers must complete the “Traveller’s Sworn Statement” electronic form up to 48 hours
before boarding, providing contact information, health and location history. This form will
include a QR code as a means of verification. It can be completed at www.c19.cl. Travellers
must undergo by a 10 days quarantine or a negative PCR test taken from the 7th day of
quarantine onwards for all countries, except the United Kingdom.
CROATIA
• Borders are open with no restrictions for EU/EEA member states and Australia, Japan,
New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay, China and special
administrative regions of the People’s Republic of China – Hong Kong and Macao.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours for
persons coming from third countries, including the US, traveling only for urgent
personal/family matters, business reasons or other economic interest. Persons who do not
present a negative PCR result are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine / self-isolation
measure. Passengers who travel for tourism must send an email to border control stating
their intention to cross state border to [email protected], followed by presenting Proof of
tourism – accommodation proof, travel agency voucher etc. Travellers should be prepared
for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice.
• Airports are open and commercial flights operate without restrictions.
• Hotels are open with necessary imposed health and safety measures. Many hotels offer
free COVID-19 testing.
CZECH REPUBLIC
• Travel is banned for all non-essential purposes to the Czech Republic, regardless of
which country (green, orange or red) you are travelling from. Exceptions are travel to work,
school, health and social care facilities, necessary trips to family, travel to marriages and
funerals.
• Prague Main Airport is constantly updating the list of resumed and announced routes
on its webpage.
• All hotels and hostels are open, only for business travellers, not tourists. As from 24
May, hotel fully reopened for public.
• Museums, galleries, heritage sites, exhibition spaces, fairs, castles and chateaux may
open under strict sanitary conditions and social distancing rules. Group tours are banned.
• Restaurants and bars can open their outdoors locations under strict health measures
from 06:00 until 22:00. Guests have to show either a negative test for coronavirus, a
vaccination certificate stating its holder was vaccinated 14 days prior to enter the restaurant,
or a declaration that the guest was infected with Covid-19, but has already recovered within
the past 90 days.
• Vaccination process has started.
• Borders are open with restrictions of negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 48
hours before departure until the 11th of June. Generally, everyone who wants to enter
Denmark must take a test and subsequently isolate themselves for 10 days.
• Border are open with no restrictions for travellers with completed vaccination from
Finland, Iceland, Malta, Portugal, Romania, certain areas marked as Yellow Regions from
Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain (updated list here)
• Airports are open, safety measures tighten. Fully vaccinated people from the countries
above are excluded, as well as travellers who have previously been infected with Covid-19
and who can present a positive PCR test that is between 14 and 180 days old.
• Hotels are open with strict hygiene and safety regulations in place.
• Coronapas is required for the entry to museums, art galleries, libraries.
• Restaurants are open until 23:00. Alcohol will not be served after 22:00. For indoor
service, a corona passport must be presented as well as table reservation no later than 30
minutes prior to arrival.
• Vaccination process has started and 19.8% of population has been fully vaccinated.

ESTONIA
• Borders are open with no restrictions for Estonian citizens and residents whether they
are symptomatic or not, citizens from Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland,
Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, United
Kingdom and Vatican and asymptomatic individuals with a long-stay visa and their family
members.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a 10 days quarantine for Andorra, Austria, Belgium,
Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,
FINLAND
• Borders are open with no restrictions for Vatican, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, New
Zealand South Korea and Rwanda.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a COVID-19 test less than 72 hours before arriving,
followed by a recommended 14 days self-isolation. A second test can be taken in Finland no
earlier than 72 hours after arriving in Finland. Between the tests, self-isolation at the place
of accommodation is recommended. The self-isolation period will end if the second test
result is negative. If a person's test result is positive, a mandatory quarantine must be
completed until full recovery. Restrictions will be lifted for residents of China and for Hong
Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions who are traveling to Finland, provided that

FRANCE
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before
boarding a plane or boat for travellers from within the EU, + as well as Andorra, the Holy See,
Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before
boarding a plane or boat, a 7 days self-isolation upon arrival, followed by a second PCR test
after 2-7 days for travellers from Australia, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South
Korea or the United Kingdom.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before
boarding a plane or boat and a negative antigen test carried out less than 24 hours before
boarding, a 10 days self-isolation upon arrival for travellers from Argentina, Bangladesh,
GERMANY
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours for EU
countries, Norway and Switzerland for touristic purposes. People from all other countries
are able to enter with a valid reason e.g., family visits or work. Arrival without a negative test
will occur a heavy fine and immediate deportation to country of origin at own cost.
• Airports are open on reduced services.
• Hotels are open but regional laws apply as per incidence numbers in relevant areas.
Baden Wuertemberg (Stuttgart, Black Forest Area), Berlin, Hamburg, Saxony (Dresden,
Leipzig area), Thuringia (Erfurt area) operate for business trip only. State of Bavaria (Munich
area) and Rhineland Pfalz (Mainz region) are open for domestic touristic purposes with
restrictions in place. Hesse (Frankfurt am Main area), Lower Saxony (Hannover area) and
Northrhine-Westphalia (Cologne, Dusseldorf area) allow to offer 60% occupancy in the
hotels. Access to breakfast areas is restricted. Tourists must present proof of a negative PCR
test taken on the same day as check-in day, and wear FFP2 masks in public areas.
HUNGARY
• Borders are closed until further notice. Hungary adopts its own national classification of
risk areas, hence travel restrictions for Hungary are not based on the common "EU Traffic
Lights" map. Entry from third countries is generally not allowed without a special reason.
• Airport and open, with hygiene and health measures. Flights from / to UK have resumed.
Upon entry, all individuals must agree to undergo a medical examination (temperature
check). In case a suspicion of COVID-19 infection arises during the health examination, the
individual will be refused entry.
• Hotels are open and may only accept guests who are on a business trip, not tourists.
• Museum, theatre, cinema, gym, zoos may be visited only by persons with a certificate
of immunity, children under 18 do not need a card.
• Restaurants and bars outside areas are open, indoors can be used only by guests with a
certificate of immunity.
• Vaccination process has started. 30.4% of the population is fully vaccinated.
IRELAND
• Borders are open with restrictions for all international arrivals to Ireland (except arrivals
from Northern Ireland) and are required of negative PCR test carried out no more than 72
hours prior to arrival for all passengers arriving in Ireland (more details).
ISRAEL
• Borders are open with travel restrictions for all passengers arriving from India, Ethiopia,
Ukraine, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico and Turkey. All passengers arriving from these countries
must go into 14-day isolation in a location allowed by the State of Israel. This requirement
ITALY
• Borders are open with no restrictions for Republic of San Marino and the Vatican City
State.
• Borders are open with restrictions restrictions (1 -produce a green certificate proving
that you have taken a negative molecular or antigen swab test in the 48 hours prior to entry
into Italy; 2- complete the digital Passenger Locator Form, which replaces the previous self-
declaration; 3- notify the prevention department of the health authority) for
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark (including the Faroe Islands and
Greenland), Estonia, Finland, France (including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Reunion,
LITHUANIA
• Nationwide lockdown until May 31st. Lithuania currently allows citizens of European
Economic Area countries and persons lawfully residing in these countries to enter Lithuania.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative test for COVID-19 taken 72 hours at the
earliest before the return or arrival in only for EU / EEC countries.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers or travellers that
have been infected with COVID-19 180 days prior to arrival (must present an English/Czech
medical certificate).
• Before leaving, each passenger arriving in Lithuania must register on the website of the
Lithuanian National Centre for Public Health or the Ministry of Health (identical form) and
present the confirmation (QR code) upon boarding the plane.
• Airports are open with extra health and safety measures. The travellers who will not
have a negative test for COVID-19 performed before arrival in Lithuania will be registered
LUXEMBOURG
• Borders are open with restrictions of a pre-departure negative PCR test taken within 72
hours prior to departure for Citizens of the European Union and of the countries associated
with the Schengen area, as well as citizens of San Marino, Andorra, Monaco and the
Vatican/Saint See, as well Australia, China, New Zeeland, Rwanda, South Korea, Singapore
and Thailand. Third-country nationals, except the ones from the above list, may no longer
enter the territory of the Grand Duchy until 30 June 2021 (inclusive).
• Borders are open with restrictions of a pre-departure negative PCR test taken within 72
hours prior to departure and an additional test for viral antigen (rapid test) on arrival at
Luxembourg airport for the rest of the countries. If no rapid antigen test is taken, a 14-day
quarantine is required, which can be terminated if a negative test result is provided during
that time.
• Airports operate with restrictive measures in place.
• Hotels and other accommodation facilities remain open.
• Cultural institutions are open again to the public, but subject to strict health rules. The
performance venues will be able to accommodate up to 150 spectators wearing masks,
provided that they are assigned a seat and maintain an interpersonal distance of 2 meters if
they do not belong to the same household or cohabit. Museums, art centres, exhibition halls,
archives and libraries will once again be open to the public, with the obligation to wear a
mask.
MEXICO
• Curfews are in place but restrictions vary based on state and/or city.
• All passengers, whether nationals or foreigners, must take their temperature and do a
survey on whether they have had symptoms such as fever, cough, headache or muscle pain,
etc. and must sign this survey validating the veracity of the information given, outside of the
City, each state determines the treatment that is given to each foreign person who enters,
in the airports of the rest of the Mexican republic the requirements are almost the same,
except if the state determines some other.
• Airport is open for all the airlines that are operating, both national and international.
Mexico City’s Benito Juárez International Airport (AICM) has two specially designated areas
(modules) where passengers and crew of international flights can perform COVID-19 tests,
which some countries require for the entry of travellers by air into its territory. The tests are
done at their own expenses (approx. 38 USD for antigen rapid test – results in 15 min, 140
USD for PCR – results in 24 hours). Cancun Airport also has modules located in Terminals 2,
3 and 4.
• Hotels are open with a maximum of 30% occupancy rate. Buffet breakfast is assisted. If
the occupancy of the hotel is low, they will be able to serve Full breakfast at the table.
• Restaurants are open with a maximum of 30% occupancy rate and a limited number of
people/table (max 6 indoors / max 8 outdoors).
• Vaccination process has started.
• Borders are open with restrictions of 14 days quarantine, except travellers who present
a printed negative result from a PCR test conducted less than 72 hours before embarking a
plane or the arrival time at the border if travelling by private means of transportation.
• Airports operate, including commercial flights.
• Hotels are open with no restrictive measures in place.
• Public events in theatres, cinemas and sports arenas are not permitted. Events with
fewer than 50 people are allowed, but cannot take place close to public institutions, schools,
hospitals, or other institutions with a high risk of infection.
• Restaurants are bars are closed between 22:00 and 07:00. Night clubs and karaoke bars
are closed.
• Vaccination process started.
NETHERLANDS
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours prior
to boarding for all high-risk countries, including EU/Schengen countries.
• Birders are open with no restrictions for all travellers from safe countries with a low
COVID-19 risk: Iceland, Portugal, Finland, Malta, Ireland, Spain (only Balearic and Canary
Islands), Greece (North Aegean Region, South Aegean Region and Ionian Islands), Norway
(excluding Olso and Agder county), Australia, New Zeeland, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea,
Thailand, China (mainland), Hong Kong and Macau (only if China lifts the restrictions for
European travellers), Israel.
• Borders are closed for travellers from India, South Africa, Central and South America.
NORWAY
• The Norwegian Government banned foreigners from entering the country, except for
foreigners residing in Norway and all Norwegian citizens (regardless of where they live).
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative test on COVID-19, not older than 24
hours, followed by another test within 24 hours after arrival. Whenever possible, this test
has to be taken at the airport or point of entry to the country. Otherwise, you have to arrange
the test with the local municipality. Testing is free of charge. Testing requirements and
quarantine duty also apply if you have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Norwegian main airports are open, face masks are mandatory.
• Hotels are open, with specific guidelines and healthy measures.
• All institutions for culture and leisure activities are closed, including places of worship
(except for funerals). Libraries are open.
• Restaurants are closed until at least 29th of April. They may offer take-away.
• Vaccination process has started.
• Borders are open with restriction of PCR test taken no later than 72 hours prior to arrival,
followed by 14 days quarantine for all Peruvians, foreigner’s resident in Peru and foreign
visitors. If the test is negative, the quarantine is not necessary. The land borders of Peru
remain temporarily closed.
• The entry of non-resident passengers from South Africa, Brazil and/or India or who have
made a stopover in those countries in the last 14 days is suspended until May 30.
• Hotels are allowed to open as long as they comply with all the biosafety protocols issued
by the Ministry of Health.
• Restaurants are open and working. They must comply with health security measures.
• Vaccination process has started.
POLAND
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result performed
before crossing the border and within 48 hours from the moment of reception of the test
result for any person crossing the border, for all travellers coming from Schengen area.
Travelers who have been quarantined in Poland will be able to take a test, the negative result
of which will release them from quarantine.
• Borders are open with restrictions of 10 days quarantine for the rest of the countries.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for people who have been vaccinated against
COVID-19. This applies to people who have been issued a certificate of vaccination with a
vaccine that has been authorized in the European Union.
• Airports are open.
• Hotels are open only for necessary purposes: business trips of paramedics, diplomats
with confirmation from the local PL authority, etc.
• Cinemas, theatres, museums, galleries and other cultural institutions are closed.
PORTUGAL
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative COVID-19 test carried out no more than
72 hours before departure for passengers arriving from European Union countries or
Schengen Associated Countries, as well as Australia, China (including Hong Kong and Macao),
South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, Thailand and Uruguay. Only “essential
travel” is allowed.
• Borders are open with restrictions of a negative COVID-19 test carried out no more than
72 hours before departure, followed by a 14-days period of quarantine at their residence, or
in a proper place indicated by health authorities for travellers arriving from South Africa and
Brazil.
• Borders are closed for all countries not mentioned.
• Main airports in the country are open and airlines are running part of their routes
according to the restrictions.
• Hotels can open with limited capacity.
• Major Tourist Attractions are opened.
• Bar and restaurants are opened, with max capacity of max 4 people inside, or 6 people
outside.
• Vaccination process has started.

• Borders are open with restrictions for persons arriving in Romania from Andorra,
Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France,
Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, North
Macedonia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden,
Switzerland, and the US. Citizens are required to prove with a negative RT-PCR test for SARS-
CoV-2 (not older than 72 hours before entering Romania in case of transport by car or not
older than 72 hours before boarding a vehicle) and undergo a 14 days quarantine.
*** Duration of self-quarantine for visitors that can show proof of a negative RT-PCR Covid
test will be 10 days. The self-quarantine regulation does not apply to visitors that have been
vaccinated.
• Borders are open with no restrictions for persons arriving from other European
Economic Area (EEA) countries, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South
Korea, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, and Uruguay.
• Airports are operating with standard sanitary measures.
• Hotels are open but due to the lack of business many of them have suspended their
activities and employees are in technical unemployment status.
• Major Tourist Attractions are open, if the capacity does not exceed 50%.
• Restaurant and bars are open with limited capacity inside of 50% and health protection
measures.
• New restrictions have been imposed: cities with cases more than 4 per 1000 people will
have curfew after 20:00 hrs in weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and all restaurants and
bars are closed after 18:00 hrs. Cities with cases over 7.5 per 1000 people, will extend these
restrictions throughout the week.
• Vaccination process has started.

• Borders are open with no restrictions for tourism. However, travellers should be
prepared for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice.
• Flights are available from Serbia. Belgrade Airport is open, but with a reduced number
of flights.
• Hotels and other tourist accommodations are opened with necessary imposed health
and safety measures.
• Museums and heritage sites are open. The government is still suggesting the wearing of
masks in public indoor spaces, 2 metres distancing. Theatres and cinemas will close at 17:00
every day, including weekends.
• Restaurants and bars are closed, only take-away or delivery is available.
• Face coverings are mandatory indoors and on public transport, as well as outdoors if
contact with other people cannot be avoided. All facilities must provide a minimum of 9 m2
per person or visitor.
• Vaccination process has started. 25.6% of population is now fully vaccinated.
SLOVAKIA
SLOVENIA
• Borders are open with restriction of a 14 days mandatory quarantine for all travellers
from “yellow” and “red” countries. The quarantine is not required if a person has tested

• Borders are open with no restrictions for travellers from “green list” countries or those
who have proof of vaccination against COVID-19. It is required that vaccination took place in
EU+ count country and that the 2nd dose has been administrated at least:
▪ 7 days before arrival for Biontech/Pfizer,
▪ 14 days before arrival for Moderna,
▪ 21 days before arrival for AstraZeneca.

• Flights are available from Slovenia and neighbouring countries. Ljubljana Airport is open,
but with a reduced number of flights.
SPAIN
• Borders are open with restrictions of a fill out and signed FCS form associated with your
trip, certificate with a negative AIDT result for high-risk country. Exclusions are travellers
from Australia, New Zeeland, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, China or, as of the
7th of June, all travellers, regardless of country, which are fully vaccinated with one of the
vaccines approved by EMA (Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson) at least 14 days prior
to departure date.
• All main airports are open and airlines companies are operating as per restrictions.
• Hotels are allowed to open although the capacity is limited according to the regional
restrictions. Some hotels have decided to remain closed due to the limited activity but will
reopen gradually.
• Major Tourist Attractions are open with limited capacity as per regional restrictions.
• Bars and restaurants are open in most of the regions with limited capacities: max 6 pax
per table allowed outside, max 4 pax per table allowed inside.
• Curfew applied in some regions of the country from 24:00 till 06:00.

hours before entering Switzerland for Austria (Land Burgenland, Land Kärnten, Land

• Restrictions, service opening and closures in the U.S. vary by state and sometimes even
by county. There are no national policies in place that are the same across the continent. The
CDC (Centers for Disease Control) has announced that fully vaccinated people in the U.S. can
resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by
federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business
and workplace guidance. Masks are still required for local mass transportation and flights.
• The U.S./Canadian border remains closed for all non-essential travel and has recently
been extended through 21 June 2021 partly due to the spike of COVID cases in Canada. This
regulation will be updated monthly. Essential cross-border workers such as health care
professionals, airline crews and truck drivers will still be permitted to cross.
• Airlines – International and domestic airlines are operating on reduced schedules though
additional flights have recently been added. Specific international flight to certain countries
are now available for fully vaccinated passengers only. All travellers are still required to wear
a face-covering with no vents and that fully covers their nose and mouth. Face coverings must
be worn during the entire flight and in the airport. Upon arrival, travellers must follow local
quarantine guidelines or vaccination requirements. Travellers from the following countries
are currently prohibited from entry to the United States with exceptions of U.S. citizens,
foreign national parents, siblings of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

• Most hotels are open with COVID restrictions in place with limited occupancy and safety
protocols based on CDC recommendations and local regulations. Procedures across hotel
brands have included the production of branded signage stating the new safety precautions
in place, promoting social distancing and are offering hand sanitizing stations positioned
