    Hanukkah is an eight-day celebration that commemorates the re-dedication of the Temple after the first Abomination of Desolation by Antiochus Epiphanes and
    celebrates our personal deliverance from pagan sun-god worship. The first day of Hanukkah was a weekly Sabbath in the year that Yeshua opened the eyes of the
    man who was born blind (John 9:1-41). This is not one of the appointed times commanded in Leviticus 23.
