7 Troubleshooting and service

7.1 Suspicion of computer virus

Computer viruses cannot implement themselves permanently on HS MIOS 4 due to its
hardware architecture. To prevent data on the MIOS from getting corrupted by a virus (for
example if a virus is detected in the hospital network) disconnect the MIOS from the LAN
connection and reboot it. All viruses will be gone on a new start.

7.2 After each service

After servicing MIOS it has to be tested on its main functions. All functions described in the
corresponding user instruction have to be installed and must work properly.
