    2021 SCHOOL BRIGADA ESKWELA VIRTUAL KICK-OFF and BRIGADA


    PAGBASA IMPLEMENTATION

    To: Teachers
    All Others Concerned

    1. In preparation for the opening of classes for the School Year 2021-2022 on September 13, 2021,
    Tambubong Elementary School shall implement 2021 “Brigada Eskwela Program” from August 03 to
    September 30, 2021 with the theme, “Bayanihan Para Sa Paaralan”.
    2. The focus of this year’s Brigada Eskwela is to strenhten partnership engagements that complement
    DepEd’s effort to ensure quality basic education amidst the COVID -19 pandemic. The activities shall
    include the collaboration for safe living and addressing social issues and concerns in school, at home
    and in the community.
    3. The implementation of Brigada Eskwela shall comply with the required health standards, which include
    following social distancing measures and practicing proper hygiene consistent with the IATF health
    protocols, DOH health standards, local and national quarantine rules, and all other relevant protocols as
    detailed in DepEd and DepEd Task Force COVID-19 issuance.
    4. To ensure a wider dissemination and participation on 2021 BE, the school shall conduct the 2021 School
    Brigada Eskwela Virtual Kick-Off Ceremony on Friday, August 27,2021 at 9:00 am via DepED
    Tayo Tambubong facebook page.
    5. The Brigada Pagbasa, as part of BE, is an after-school reading program that envisions bringing
    together education partners and experts to help all learners read and become functionaly literate. This
    program will serve as a platform to synergize efforts and resources to address education-related
    challenges especially on literacy and numeracy. School head and BE, English and Filipino Coordinators
    are encouraged to call up for Brigada Pagbasa volunteers.
    6. Enclosure No. 1 contains the flow of the program, name of the resource speakers and the Technical
    Working Group (TWG).
    7. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
