OVERALL CONCEPT
What will happen if 8 strangers from different parts of the
country, live together under one roof, in a new city all together ?

What will happen if each one is given a limited amount of


money to survive in a new city for 2 months ?

What will happen if each one has to face a much difficult


challenge every week and and battle against elimination ?

What will happen when there is a clash of egos between


people living in the same house ?

What will happen when each one's money keeps decreasing


every minute ?

Welcome to the REAL WORLD !


Welcome to the Real World is a show where in contestants
will be given a fixed amount of money (1 Lakh Rupees) to
survive in a new city for 2 months.

They will have to look for a low income job (eg. Baby Sitting,
working in a food joint etc.) and they have to take care of all
their expenses in that earned money and the fixed money
given.

They will have to go through a series of challenges to


survive. At the end of every week, the contestant with the
least amount of money gets eliminated.

The winner of the show gets 10 times the money he has


managed to save.
BREAKDOWN OF
EPISODES
EPISODE 1 : INTRODUCTION

The episode will begin with all the contestants arriving at


the house and introduction of each contestant; and the
struggle to settle themselves in their first week in the city.

Our first week challenge to the contestants will be of a


welcome party thrown by the team of Welcome to the Real
World, where in they'll be taken to a local pub. At the end of
it, they will be told that its a task and they have to pay for
their own expenses.

The one left with the least amount of money at the end
of the week will be eliminated.

This episode will be a test of their presence of mind and


their spending nature.
EPISODE 8 : FINALE

The final challenge for the contestants will be a


fundraiser task. Contestants will be asked to
raise funds for a cause they support by means
of a performance (dance, music, drama etc.)

The contestant with the maximum amount of


money (inclusive of the fundraiser task) will be
declared as the Winner of the Show.

The fundraising amount will be donated towards


the cause and the ten times the remaining
money will be rewarded to the winner.
NOTE
Episodes will be tweaked according to
the performance of the contestants.
Challenges for every episode will also
be based on the current situation of the
contestants.

AUDITION PROCESS
1. How and where was auditions announced ?
Casting was announced on Viacom 18 TV Channels and
popular websites . We hired PA's in every city to hand out
flyers to promote the show. Auditions were held in the
following cities :
Mumbai
Delhi
Kolkata
Bangalore
Chennai
Hyderabad
Ahmedabad
Chandigarh
2. What were the criteria for eligibility ?
- Above 18 years of age
- Citizen of India
- No chronical disease (eg. Cancer, AIDS, heart diseases
etc.)
- Alcohol & Smoking allowed only to a certain extent, but no
Drugs
- Marital Status : Single
- Mentally & Physically stable
- No past criminal records
3. How many rounds were there in the auditions ?

Round 1 : Screening 3 contestants from every city on the


basis of a Questionnaire.

Round 2 : Personal interview of the selected contestants


from Round 1.
4. How many people were involved in the audition process ?

16 people for examining the questionnaires and selecting the


contestants. 2 people for every city.

3 people for personal interview of the selected contestants at


Mumbai.

The personal interviews of the
selected contestants will be on
the basis of the way the
contestant has answered the
questionnaire.
FILM INTEGRATION
POSSIBILITIES
- 30 Minute Slot of the Episode for
promotion of the movie a week before its
release.
- Movie cast will interact with contestants in
the house.
- The challenge for that week will be a task
related to the movie.
JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SUPERVISING PRODUCER / PROJECT HEAD :
Supervises the creative process in the writing room, and
often aids in script re-writes.

2. EXECUTIVE PRODUCER :
The EP is the "chief executive"—in charge of everything
related to the production of the show.

3. CREATIVE DIRECTOR :
Guides a team of employees with skills and experience
related to graphic design, fine arts, motion graphics, and
other creative industry fields.

4. PRODUCTION CONTROLLER :
Monitoring and controlling a large physical facility or
physically dispersed service.
5. PRODUCTION MANAGER :
Coordinating the operations of various production sub-
disciplines (scenic, wardrobe, lighting, sound, projection,
automation, video, etc.) of the show.

6. COORDINATING PRODUCER :
This producer manages the show's schedule and arranges
the staff into teams.

7. ASSOCIATE PRODUCER :
Runs day-to-day operations.

8. ASSISTANT PRODUCER :
Sources contributors and stories for the program.
9. LINE PRODUCER :
Manages current staff, and finds staff to hire for the
production.

10. POST PRODUCER :


Supervises the overall post-production process, including
editing, dubbing and grading.

11. FIELD PRODUCER :


A Field Producer is out in the field, either shooting or
overseeing the shooting of the material.
