    PROJECT PROPOSAL

    I. Title: PagPaKaRiTaY: Paglikay han Pandemya: Kahimsog, Rig-on, ngan Talento,


    Yes!

    II. Rationale:
    The Republic Act 8044: Youth in Nation-Building Act is an act creating the
    National Youth Commission, establishing a national comprehensive and coordinated
    program on youth development. Moreover, it outlines the pivotal role of the youth in
    nation-building. One of the advocacies of the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of
    Barangay Salvacion is to develop the camaraderie among youth in a virtual setting
    and this will be carried out through excitement online activities. Amidst pandemic,
    the mental health of most youth is at stake. To fight the ongoing dilemma, the
    Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay Salvacion is proposing a plan to engage
    the youth to the various online activities.

    III. Objectives:

    The following are the expected formulated outcomes which is the basis of
    implementation of the project:

    a. to involve the youth in various online activities and maximize the use of
    social media;
    b. to develop and learn new skills (eg. social, mental, emotional, etc.);
    c. gain valuable technical experience; and
    d. to promote mental health awareness.
