PROGRAM DESIGN
I. RATIONALE:
In accordance with Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sangguniang

Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan
in very barangay, municipality, city and province on the week where the 12thof
August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day (IYD) and DILG
Memorandum Circular 2021-088 dated August 12, 2021, Observance of Linggo
ng Kabataan and International Youth Day (IDY) 2021 with the theme,
“Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human Planetary Health”.
In line with these the Sangguniang Kabataan of Baranggay Agkilo, Panitan,

Capiz, Amidst the global crisis that we are facing, will still celebrate every youth’s
talents, skills, building camaraderie and strengthening the spirit of unity in our
community.
Series of activities will be conducted in a 5 days celebration.These are the

proposed activities;
1. Mental health awareness symposium. To help them develop the resilience to
cope with whatever life throws at them especially in these trying times of
pandemic.
2. Raffle. A great way to encourage the youth to attend and participate in

Mental health symposium, Tiktok Challenge and Vlog Making Contest. Their
attendance and participation will serve as their ticket in the Raffle. First part of
the raffle will be during the Mental Health Symposium exclusive for the
participants of the Symposium (ice-breaker) and the second part will be on the
awarding of the winners that will be aired live in Sangguniang Kabataan Brgy.

3. Giving of Vegetable Seeds. Its goal is to make every household have their
very own long-lasting food supply while everyone is experiencing lockdowns
and unexpected quarantines due to this pandemic.
4. Tiktok Challenge and Vlog Making Contest. To show the skills and talents of
youths in this new platform. Contents must be in line with this year’s Linggo ng
Kabataan theme.
Prize: Winner 1st - place Php 1,000.00

2nd Place- Php 800.00
3rd Place- Php 500.00
5. Face Shield and Face Mask Design Contest (Exclusive for LGBTQ Youths) to
support diversity and inclusion of LGBTQ in the community.
Prize: Winner 1st - place Php 1,000.00
2nd Place- Php 800.00
3rd Place- Php 500.00
These activities will allocate a fund from General Administration Program

(Other MOOE-Linggo ng Kabataan).
II. OBJECTIVES:
This Activity aims to:
1. To keep the youth away from depression and anxiety because of this
pandemic (Covid -19);
2. embrace new normal activities with less physical contact;
3. enhance and develop the artistry and creativity of Youths.

IV. EXPECTED RESULT
After this project the youth will be able to celebrate their importance in society as
well in their own community. Youth will be more aware of what's happening
around them. They can showcase their talents, skills and creativity despite the
pandemic we are all facing.
