Assessment type: Written Assessment in Grammar

Assessment Purpose: The purpose of this assessment is to test the knowledge of the students and
evaluate them about grammar. It is the way to analyze the knowledge of the students and to measure
their capabilities and skills of how much they have learn about grammar throughout the lesson which the
students provide the evidence of learning to determined that the lesson is being met to the goals.

Assessment Description: This is a written assessment wherein Grade 7 students will read the questions
and analyze it in order to choose, identify, perform, and to complete what are asked in each type of test.
This assessment contains multiple choice, identification, completion test and essay. In multiple choices,
students will encircle the letter of the correct answer on the choices below in each number and it consists
of 30 items test. In identification, the students will identify the verb in the sentence in each item. In
completion test, the students are provides the verb in the sentence that is missing in the sentence. Lastly,
the essay test that the students are task to explain what are being asked they can answer it briefly but
concisely. If the students got a high sore in this assessment it means or it is the evidence that the lesson
about grammar are fully understood to the students and met to the goals of the teacher.

Assessment Type: Output- based Assessment in Grammar

Assessment Purpose: The purpose of this assessment is to determine if how deep students learned
about grammar which is simile, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia, irony, and alliteration
especially in using some common verb in composing a short story. In this assessment, the progress of
the students can be measured and recognize the students achievement throughout the lesson. By
composing a short story will encourage student to develop their creative writing and provides a great
opportunity to play with language and help students to recognize the correct usage of grammar and to
boost their skills and capabilities upon constructing a short story.

Assessment Description: In this assessment the Grade 7 students will compose a short story using some
common verbs and some figurative language. In order to be more guided, there is a rubric below to be
followed by them. By composing a short story they will make about anything that will come into their
mind which interest them which have content, organization, and language and style. Each category has a
rating scale of excellent which is 20 points, average is 10 points, and poor is 5 points. The students will
do their best for their Output- Based-Assessment.

Assessment type: Performance- based Assessment in Grammar

Assessment Purpose: The purpose of this assessment is to measure the performance of the students
when it comes to storytelling especially on how they use and construct their grammar in some common
verb and figurative language such as simile, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia, irony, and
alliteration. The students will learn more about language especially in grammar which makes them
familiar the correct pronunciation, intonation, tone and any literary forms of language. By doing this
assessment the grade 7 students will practice their skills in speaking and to gain confidence in front of
the audience.

Assessment Description: The grade 7 students will recite their story in the class by using some common
verb and any literary form of language. In order to be more guided, there is a rubric below for them to be
follow. When students will perform their story telling they will consider the categories such as knows
the story, voice, acting, audience contact, pacing, and grammar. Each category has a rating scale of
outstanding which is 30 points, very satisfactory in 20 points, satisfactory in 10 points, and need
improvement in 5 points. The result of the performance is the evidence that the students fully understand
their lessons and met the goals of the teacher.
