Reflection: Preparing Cold Meals
Preparing cold meals was one of my favorites so far. It is very easy to do, and I
can play with the plating plus it is very tasty and requires less time to prepare. Cold
dishes can be served anywhere because it is very easy to make and very healthy as
well.

There are three types of cold meals. One of them is appetizers or Hors
d'oeuvres. Appetizers are food that stimulates the appetite or prepare you for the main
dishes. It is commonly composed of foods that are bite size and easy to prepare. There
are different appetizers that comes from different amazing countries. These includes
vegetables, fruits, and cheese.

Aside from appetizers another example of cold food are sandwiches which I think
is the universal food all around the world. Every country has their own sandwich
delicacy. The last and final cold food are salads. Salads are for people who opt to
choose the healthier option. This is not only tasty but healthy as well.

Studying how to prepare cold foods has also taught me the skills that are needed
to prepare this food. It requires patience, creativity and most important is the
cleanliness. I think cold foods are the most well requested food anywhere because
aside from easy preparation it is also less hassle to eat specially in places that are not
suitable for eating.
