I. Tool Power
*Required Voltage for PLT:
+35 V of each tool. To determine how many given voltage should be sent from the warrior panel, you
may connect the tool string and cable head through jumper cable. Use voltmeter to measure voltage
different between tool and ground. Increase voltage power on the warrior panel until voltage different
between tool string and ground reaches +35V. Take note at the given voltage read on warrior panel.
*Required Current for PLT:
1. 3 Parameters Tools (BWCG=WTC, CCL, GR) : 80mA
2. BTP (Temperature and Pressure Tool : 30‐35 mA
3. BD (FDT) : 40‐48 mA
4. BH (CWH) : 30 mA
5. BF (Flowmeter) : 45 mA
6. BQF (Fullbore) : 54‐58 mA
7. EMDS : 100 mA
8. Multifinger Caliper:
a. 24 arms : 28 mA
b. 40 arms : 35‐40 mA
c. 56 arms : 35‐40 mA
Additional Information:
WAS File:
MUXBV2.WAS (location: folder Warrior/Bin32). Make sure that you set Manual Threshold=1.
That means you will adjust the gamma ray threshold manually from warrior software.
Make sure that frame rate information in MUXBV2.WAS is correct according to the standard of
new telemetry system. New telemetry system uses 62,500 µs/cps. Put this frame rate
information in the text:
[1]
Command= MUXB
InputChannel= 8
HoldingChannel= 0
Threshold= 60
Version= 2

FrameRate= 62500
UseManualThresh= 1
II. Recommended Tool String Order (Top to Bottom)
a. 3 Parameters Tool (WTC, CCL, GR)
b. Inline Centralizer
c. CWH (Capacitance Water Holdup)
d. FDT (Fluid Density Tool)
e. T/P
f. Quartz Pressure
g. FBS (Full Bore Spinner)
Additional note (recommendation):
If you want to add Inline Spinner then you may install it between Quartz Pressure and FBS.
III. Operation
Operation Manual:
1. Click Acquisition on warrior folder.
2. Choose the correct service table. In the warrior logging system panel, click Service>XIPE PIT or
XIPE PIT QUARTZ for PLT with quartz pressure.
3. Choose the correct tools string. If you want to change the tool serial number then right click on
the tool>change>choose the correct tool serial number. Don’t forget to click ‘save’ after you
finish it.
4. Open power control panel. Click action>power control. Click ‘Keep this box’.
5. Open Sensors panel (at Warrior Logging System, click monitor>sensors.
6. Open Outputs panel (at Warrior Logging System, click monitor>outputs.
7. Open Device:SDSDSP panel (at Warrior Logging System, click monitor>device>dsp.
8. Power up the tool. Switch to Positive current (on warrior panel). Increase voltage on warrior
panel to reach *Required Voltage (monitor voltage at cable head from TVOLT at outputs panel).
Current displayed on warrior panel should be the amount of requirement current for each tool
(as mentioned on *Required Current). See further explanation about required voltage and
required current on page 1.
9. Adjust Signal Gain, Quality, and Frequency:
Page | 2
Fine Adjustment:
On Panel Controls adjust aux gain.
Recommended Gain: (for Iraqi Truck)
16
Coarse Adjustment:
Click edit>device configuration>SDSTIP>adjust gain, quality, frequency and filter.
Recommended Gain, Quality, and Frequency: (for Iraqi Truck)
Gain : 0.04
Quality : 0.50
Frequency : 1,000
Filter : High Pass
10. Adjust Signal threshold on Tel Threshold panel. Signal should be stable. Try to adjust SDSTIP and
Control Panels so you can have as minimum noise as possible and adjust the threshold so you
will not lose any good signals. Slide down and up the red line and blue line. See illustration
below:
11. Monitor Device: SDSDSP.
a. Error value must be stable and not changing. It is recommended for you to take note of
the error value before you start the job. So then you can compare it with the error value
Page | 3
after the job. Those values should be the same. Otherwise you may have some error in
your measurement.
b. Monitor FrameCnt value. Its value should increase by ‘15’ and continuously. If it is not
then play with the threshold adjustment on the TEL Threshold panel.
12. Monitor Outputs panel.
a. CCL value is usually around 19,000.
b. GR value should read background measurement (normally around 50 GAPI). If GR value
is too high then you may have radioactive source nearby or you GR tool has not been
calibrated yet or you may have problem with the GR sensor.
c. CWH value is around 30,000 cps in air and 10,000 cps in water.
d. FDEN value is around 1,000 kg/m3 in water (you may only see this value when the tool is
already into the fluid in the wellbore).
e. FDIR (FBS spinner) value must be +1 for flowing up indication and ‐1 for flowing down
indication.
f. TEMP value is 1,600 cps for 0⁰C. And it will increase by +90 cps of every 1⁰C. For
example output reading is 1,780 cps for 2⁰C (=1,600 + 2x(90 cps))
IV. Calibration
Temperature:
There are two ways to calibrate temperature tool:
1. At Warrior Logging System panel, click Action>Calibrate>Temperature>click Sample for
each calibration reference. Environment temperature for low reference and heater
temperature for high reference.
2. Edit calibration values in Tools.ini (in Config folder). For example, calibration value for
MUXBTP‐28 is written as following syntax:
[MUXBTP‐28]
Model=GOWELL
TEMP=1264754565,0.02,10600,212,1600,32,0
is calibration values for MUXBTP‐28
For logging operational, it is recommended to do only the second way.

Quartz Pressure:
Edit calibration values in <tool serial number>.coe file. All values in A, B, C, and D are for
pressure and all values in E are for Temperature.
CWH:
There are two ways to calibrate temperature tool:
1. At Warrior Logging System panel, click Action>Calibrate>Temperature>click Sample for
each calibration reference.
2. Edit calibration values in Tools.ini (in Config folder).
For logging operational, it is recommended to do only the second way.
Do not forget to put CWH readings (in cps) in your remarks to tell your client what is the
standard cps for air and water.
For example:
Capacitance measurement in air : 30,000 cps
Capacitance measurement in water : 10,000 cps
FDT:
At Warrior Logging System panel, click Action>Calibrate>Temperature>click Sample for each
calibration reference.
Low reference: use air
High reference: use water
GR:
At Warrior Logging System panel, click Action>Calibrate>Gamma Ray>put the correct value for
GR Calibrator (=152 GAPI)>Click Sample>Begin>Accept
Page | 5
Additional Information:
Effect of Gain to Outputs and Sensors reading:
On Edit Calibration panel, if you insert Gain value=1, then you will have the same values in outputs and
sensors. Otherwise those values in outputs and sensors would be different.
