Through Community Empowerment to
Improve Patient Quality of Life

Malang, Indonesia, 28-30 October 2021


Dear Invited Speakers, Presenters, Moderators, and Participants of the 2nd International Nursing and
Health Sciences Symposium (INHSS),

Due to some unfortunate situation that we face at present (i.e., COVID-19 pandemic), we have to
carry out the 1st International Nursing and Health Sciences Symposium (INHSS) through a webinar.
We choose Zoom (Zoom Video Communications, Inc.) as a reliable cloud platform for our
conference as we consider that it is the most popular and friendlier media to all participants.

The 2nd International Nursing and Health Sciences Symposium (INHSS) 2020 has several parallel
activities proceeding especially on 28-30 October 2021. To facilitate the facile movement ofthe
participants to the suitably designated parallel rooms (breakout rooms), we provide this Technical
Guideline. Within this guideline, we divide the participants into several categories whichlater has
importance for further settings throughout the conference. These categories fall into:

1. General Participant (P)


2. Oral Presenter (OP)
3. Speaker (S)
4. Moderator (M)
5. Judge (J)
6. Organizing committee (OC)
The detailed arrangement of these categories during the conference will be explained further
within this guideline. As the organizing committees of 2nd International Nursing and Health Sciences
Symposium (INHSS) 2021, we try our best to facilitate the participants during this conference to
the fullest. We do hope you can enjoy this conference!

GENERAL INSTRUCTION
1. To participate in this conference, you have to ensure that your personal Zoom
application has been updated to the latest version. Please visit the following link
for more information

2. Please log-in to your personal Zoom, and click the link provided in this Technical
Guideline to join the conference (as shown on the Conference Schedule, refer to
How to join the 2nd INHSS Section)

3. Ensure that you have changed your name according to the category of your
participation in this conference (refer to How to join the 2nd INHSS Section)

4. Make sure that your computer has a working camera and audio device

5. After the Opening remarks on Day 1 of the event, you may stay in the main
meeting room. The host will assign you into the suitably designated breakout room
for the oral presentation session based on your name (credentials) on zoom.
Therefore, we really recommend you to properly rename your Zoom ID (name)
according to your participation in this event. The details of how to rename your
zoom ID will be instructed on How to join the 2nd INHSS Section

6. Throughout the conference, the chat room is only available for


(i) delivering questions to the on-going discussion in the session,
(ii) requesting for changing/moving to the other breakout room (after you
leave out the current suitably designated breakout room and entering
main meeting room), and
(iii) announcements delivered by the organizing committees
HOW TO JOIN THE 2nd INHSS
PARTICIPATION on Day 1 (Thursday, 28 October 2021)

2. After Plenary session Day 1, we will begin our oral presentation session. All participants
have to change Zoom ID/name according to participation category in theformat:

3. If you have already changed your name, please click this following link to enter

Once you have clicked the link above, this window will appear (Fig. 1):

Then, you need to click “launch meeting” and then the following window will appear as well
(Fig. 2). Just click the “Open Zoom Meeting” and you will enter the main meeting room after
the host confirms your attendance.

4. Shortly before the Oral Presentation Session begin, the host will assign you into
the suitably designated breakout room based on your Zoom ID. All you must do is
to click “accept/OK/JOIN”. General participants are able to join any breakout
room.

5. We recommend that all participants join the WhatsApp Group created by the
committee of INHSS to ease the communication also for any troubleshoot during
the conference
