O R D E R:
In the reference 1st to 3rd read above, Government have declared the area
of 4910 Sq.Kms covering Ongole Municipal Corporation, Chirala, Markapur,
Kandukuru Municipalities, Addanki, Cheemakurthi, Kanigiri and Giddaluru Nagara
panchayaths and 351 villages in 39 Mandals in Prakasham District (including 15
villages of 2 Mandals in Guntur District) as Ongole Urban Development Authority
(ONUDA) with Headquarters at Ongole.
2. In the reference 4th read above, the District Collector & Executive Director,
AP State Housing Corporation, Prakasam District, Ongole has requested to
include 316 Villages of 38 Mandals admeasuring 4409.44 Sq.Kms in Ongole
Urban Develoment Authority (ONUDA), Ongole for comprehensive development
of the Region.
3. Government after careful examination of the matter hereby include 316
Villages of 38 Mandals admeasuring 4409.44 Sq.Kms in Ongole Urban
Develoment Authority (ONUDA), Ongole. Now, the total extent of Ongole Urban
Development Authority is 9320.19 Sq.Kms.
4. The Vice Chairperson, Ongole Urban Development Authority (ONUDA),
Ongole shall take further necessary action, accordingly.

5. The appended notification will be published in an Extra-ordinary issue of

the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, dated.24.04.2020.

6. The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra

Pradesh, Vijayawada is requested to supply 100 copies of the Extra-ordinary
issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the

Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Region and Urban Development Authorities Act,
2016 (Act No.5 of 2016), the Government of Andhra Pradesh having regard to
the Planned Urban Growth and Prosperity of Ongole Urban Development
Authority, Ongole hereby include 316 villages of 38 Mandals admeasuring
4409.44 Sq.Kms in Ongole Urban Develoment Authority (ONUDA), Ongole.
Now, the total extent of Ongole Urban Development Authority, Ongole is
9320.19 Sq.Kms. The details of areas included are shown below:-
