BACKGROUND/INTRO:

Daud Jee Company was established in 1998 as a small enterprise in


Sialkot and now it’s working as a ltd company, it was formed by our Grand
Father at that time we were just maker of surgical scissor and then with the
passage of time our business grew and we expanded our product line then
slowly and gradually we started to take our own orders and now
Alhamdulillah we are leading manufacturer and exporter of surgical
instruments in Sialkot.

The face of health care industry is changing and we are helping you to face
the challenges of this change started as a small workshop at the start of
last century and now have become one of the leading manufacturers of
surgical and dental instruments in the world. Today our products are sold
worldwide, from Asia, Africa to Europe and America. With us you can
always be ahead of competition.

 
Our management team belongs to one family and with precious advice of
one of the eldest in the industry it enjoys the enthusiasm one of the
youngest.

 
Certified ISO-9002/13485, CE, FDA quality system signify that quality is
important to us.
We reach the thousands of satisfied customers all over the world, through
distributors and sole agents. Large stocks of our products help us to reduce
processing time of customer orders, resulting in faster delivery.
Hierarchy of organizational structure
Accounting System :
There are 8 persons in charge who manage all the accounts and
transactions one of them is a head manager and the others are cashiers
and their duty is to record transactions.
The head manager make record of financial statements in accounting
software.

Accounting Error Handled :

Once accounting department made entirely wrong invoice and send to


customer this was a huge mistake and creates an issue. The customer
complained about it and showed anger then we apologies to customer and
assure that this will not happen again.

• What were the effects of coronavirus on your business?


As it was just announced by the Government of the Pakistan to not stop the
business concerns activity all over the country to just feed the labor sector
and also to safe from increasing Inflation. So according to me we have
been receiving more and more Orders from our customers even though
most probably from New customers too. The orders placement was in
process, the production process Was also smooth however to some extend
but the main issue.
We faced due to the pandemic coronavirus it was just and only The closed
or minimized booking of the luggage of the goods. Soothe disadvantage
may have been resulted in the loss of Belief and trust of customer incense
of now getting the Displacement on the decided time. So according to
mean sense of business in the days of pandemic Corona the business
community of the Pakistan made a good Profit and also got more
collections of orders but the issues was Just the displacement of goods
duet prohibition in various Regions.
Strength:-

•Unique technological advancements within the facility to provide newest


product.
• Loyal customer base.
•Strong balance sheet and goodwill in the market .
•socially compliance company with ethical work standards similar to
international supply chains.
•Diversified working flexibility line I.e. surgical instruments.

Weakness :-

• Conflicts between labor and employees lead to delay sometimes .


• Excessive factory overheads leading to diminishing capital.
• website catalogues are not kept up to date.
• Labor union and strikes may hinder work place.

Threats:-

• Fluctuating currency due to unstable economy.


• Constant competition leading to orders shifting to others .
• Relying on imports considered dangerous for any future border skirmishes
and potential war crisis.
Opportunities :-

• Introducing local sales may liquidity their Capital and inventory.


• Launching of their own fashion brand may enhance work.
• Visit seminars and work related meeting to catch up to the trends
• Taking part in exhibitions to boost sales .

Prohibition of Child Labour :

Daud Jee Company management does not engage in and support child
labor
employment. Company's management is committed not to hire any workers
who come in
the definitions of child workers.

Prohibition of Harassment and Abuse :

Daud Jee Company management discourages all types of verbal, physical,


sexual and abusive harassments for its employees. Company's
management takes care
for self-esteem of all employees and expects from all its supervisors and
managers to
respect rights of each employee.
Compensation & Benefits :

Daud Jee Company management is committed to ensure that all


compensation
& benefits in compliance to legal requirements are given to workers.
Minimum wages as stipulated in local law are respected. Overtime
compensation is paid at twice the ordinary rate of pay as per law. Other
legal benefits like social security, EOBI, group insurance
(compensation is given by Company itself), gratuity, bonus, leaves (casual,
sick, annual,
maternity) are given to workers in compliance to law.

Conclusion :-

The companies and their information regarding the comprehensive analysis


can be very beneficial for working extensively on the problems within the
organization and finding the solution or to analyze the CBA (cost benefit
analysis) for any proposed potential or opportunities. Daud Jee Company
may be an exemplary company, but it does come with its own flaws and
there is always a window for expansion and growth in one way or another.
By conducting the internship at the company, I have collected much data
top resent my own evaluation. The Company has managed to keep a
balance of work and consistency throughout these years despite any
economic, political, technological, or social factor.
Although the competition is tough for the company as they may share the
same customer with any other organization. The vision to enhance the
vicinity with up to date modular infrastructure has attracted many
customers and their labor for its facilities.
The company manages these expenses to the hope of expanding the
business but the cost may burden them if they were to continue their work
in the continuous pace as they might need widen their horizon of work to
meet up their costs with the expenses. Data needs to be preserved in a
secure way and researched for learning from the past mistakes and to
improve its previous fails to boost their standard of work.
The Company nonetheless is a gem in the rough as it can polish many of
its minor problems. The limitations in some of their vision can be
broadened by providing the board of directors with sufficient data and
examples. The organization also needs to learn from its threats in the
future and try to own the dangers in many ways that it may turn into its
power.
