The Answer
1. Word as building-blocks maksudnya adalah kata sebagai dasar dari sebuah bahasa.
Sebuah kata yang tersusun akan membentuk phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph dan
seterusnya. Jika dianalogikan pada sebuah bangunan, kata adalah sebuah fondasi atau
seperti batu bata.
2. So the English vocabulary has developed from time to time.
Surely there will be words that are found out of nowhere, but when you look at the
dictionary it is not certain what the meaning is written there.
There are two kinds of words we can predict their meaning:
1. Onomapotoeic words
2. Words with prefix and suffix
3. In my opinion the word has predictable meaning and the words with unpredictable
meaning is different. And these differences can be seen from the example of the
meaning of the word contained in it.
4. Token is a number of word or single type, if you want to know how many token in
one sentence, you must count all word although there are the same word in one
sentence. And words as Type is a number of word also but not all word is a type,
when there are more than one the same word we only count one. To other example :
“I love you more than I love him” in here there are 8 words so the tokens are 8. But in
in this sentences there are 2 “I” and "love', we only count it one, well in this sentence
there are 6 type.
5. Onomatopoeic words : are words that express sounds.
example : ringing sounds, continuous sounds, impact sounds, human sounds, bird
sounds, animal sounds, etc.
