BHI (Baker Hughes Incorporated) offers the opportunity to join our Assembly, Maintenance &
Overhaul (AMO) Team in Continental Europe The AMO organization operates with a hub and spoke
approach sustaining global assets. The AMO Team is responsible for assembly, maintenance and
overhaul of our products, planning of tooling and testing equipment, technician development and
site competence, AMO standards and processes, visual factory and lean concepts and overall cost
containment and management. As an integral part of this organization you will develop solutions
with focus on increasing process efficiency and reducing costs.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities
Your responsibilities may include
· Under general supervision, the employee is responsible for failure analysis, troubleshooting,
and developing solutions for testing, maintenance, and repair of various electronic/mechanical
assemblies.
· Participating in new product development process for maintenance, incorporating field run
data on wear and tear criteria into future product designs.
· Collecting data and analyzing global AMO activities and costs across product lines by location
and product.
· Working with workshop facilities to implement cost reduction strategies and reduce idle
equipment waiting on maintenance.
· Providing technical support to global AMO facilities. Knowledge of testing procedures and
equipment required to perform repair and maintenance.
· Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
· Supporting the production of KPI results monthly to drive accountability through metric
analysis moving the geomarket facilities towards operational excellence.
· Aiding in the compilation and analyzes of performance reports and process control statistics.
· Understanding and applying the interdependent HS&E and Quality culture
· Developing and executing AMO business plans for efficiency and cost optimization
· Utilizing critical business processes (SAP, MAPS, BHOS)
· Recognizing opportunities and implementing continuous process improvement
· Developing and maintaining close working relations with Product Line Management, Product
Engineering, Engineering Support and Operations. Handling special projects, as assigned.
Essential qualifications/requirements
As well as fluency in English (assessment of your English proficiency may be part of the selection
process) and the legal right to work in the country, in which you have applied, you will need:
· Basic knowledge of principles, concepts, theories and practices for assembly, maintenance &
overhaul processes is a plus.
· Must be able to demonstrate analytical skills.
· Ability to travel international for extended periods
· Good verbal and writing skills.
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science. Master’s Degree Preferred.
