3.2Challenges
My training experience was good though I was faced by some challenges during
the attachment period, the challenges were as follows.
1 Long distance
ATC did not provide accommodation for attaches which forced me to walk from
home to the institution which was about 3kilometres.
Due to limited finances the institution was not able to buy enough and modern
equipments which led to inefficient and effective production.
During the attachment there was no payment hence I had to use my own
resources which lead to financial instability
4 Lack transport
There was limited means of transport due to poor road network in the area
5 Language barriers.
Some of the farmers who visited the institution could not speak in Kiswahili or
English which made it hard to communicate.

3.4Conclusion

3.5Recommendation
I would recommend that the institution focuses more on getting more funds from
the county government and non –governmental organization which will help
purchase modern equipment and smooth running of the institution.
ATC should also get more and qualified personnel in order o have efficient and
effective training f farmers and other stake holders.
