1.3. Click “Academic Planning” option, then click “Enrollment Shopping Cart”.

1.5. Click “search” button to search classes to add in the shopping cart.

1.7. Select the class you wish to add in the shopping cart by click ‘select’ button.

1.8. Click “Next” after enabling “Wait List” checkbox (if required) and entering permission number (if you have any) in
“Permission Nbr” field. Used “Wait List” checkbox to add course in the wait list or request list.
Please note, wait list or course request consume the semester enrollment limit. For example, if a sophomore student is
enrolled in 17 credit hours, his semester enrollment limit of 20 credit hours will be exhausted by adding a 3 credit hours
course in wait list or request list. No enrollment/wait list/request beyond 20 credit hours will be possible.
1.9. The course is added in the shopping. Message confirming this appear on the page as highlighted in the screenshot.
Select the class(es) that you wish to validate by clicking on the check box given on the left side of class(es). Then click on
“Validate” button.

1.10. On the next screen, Zambeel will show the validation status.

2. How to Waitlist or Add Request for a Class
Use this process to waitlist a course or add request for a course during enrollment appointment.
2.1. Go to “Student Homepage” (1.1 above) on Zambeel [https://zambeel.lums.edu.pk] and click “Enrollment”

2.3. Select semester and click “Continue”

2.5. In case you wish to add “ACCT 100‐Principles of Financial Accounting” please follows these steps:
a. Select “Accounting” from the drop down in the “Subject” field
b. Write “100” in “Course Number” field
c. “Course Career” field should be blank
d. Uncheck “Show Open Classes Only” checkbox
e. Click “Search”

2.6. Click “Select” against a course which have yellow triangle in “Status” column.

2.8. Click “Proceed to Step 2 of 3” after the courses are successfully added in the shopping cart.

3. How to Enroll a Class
Use this process to enroll a course during live enrollment. Only a course which have available seats or student have a
permission number for course can be enrolled using process given in this section. Please refer to other sections to wait list a
course or add request for a course.
3.1. Go to “Student Homepage” (1.1 above) on Zambeel [https://zambeel.lums.edu.pk] and click “Enrollment”

4. How to Drop a Class
Use this process to drop an enrolled, wait listed or requested course during announced period.
4.1. Go to “Student Homepage” on Zambeel by following the procedure given in 3.1 above. Then click “Enrollment”

4.3. Select semester and click “Continue”
4.4. Click checkbox against the class which you want to drop and select “Drop Selected Classes”

4.6. Consequent screen confirms your course enrollment status

5. How to Swap a Class
Use this process to swap an enrolled course with another course or section of the same course during announced period.
Use drop (4 above) to remove a course from waitlist or request list. Then enroll (1 above) or waitlist/request (2 above) other
course.
5.1. Go to “Student Homepage” on Zambeel by following the procedure given in 3.1 above. Then click “Enrollment”

5.3. Select semester and click “Continue”
5.4. Select a course which you wish to drop in the “Select from your schedule” field under “Swap This Class” section of the
page.

5.5. Select a course using any of the given options in the “With This Class” section of the page. For example, in the given
screenshot select a course from the shopping cart and click “Select” button.
5.6. On the next page confirm the course which you wish to drop and the course which you wish to enroll by clicking on the
“Finish Swapping” button.

5.7. In case the course you are opting for enrollment is available you will be enrolled in that course and dropped from the
other course and a message with “ ” will appear confirming the success of operation. Otherwise another message
with “ ” will appear as given in the below screenshot.
If enrollment in next course is not processed and it is open for wait list or request, then student is placed on wait list or
request of the course (subject to waitlist checkbox as described in 1.8 above). Previous course is not dropped until the
next course is not enrolled as a result of wait list or request list processing.
