1. Based on the theory of divine origin, why is man presumed to be good.

A man presumed to be good for he was made in the likeness of God. He was made up of
body, soul and spirit. Likeness of God means having the same character of God with the
man. Therefore, a man has a nature of being good. For the Lord the creator possessed
goodness, virtuous and will.

2. Is it possible to unite people having contradicting values? Explain.


Yes it possible to unite people having contradicting values though a man have different
values in life it has one thing that they unite, that is will. Will pushes a man to decide for
what is good or evil. The desire of the heart can make people unite as one.

3. Why is Ethics a part of our daily living?


The action of every human has the connection with ethics. It is the life of human on how
to live according to his beliefs and associating with people around him. It is important in
the daily living of people for it gives the correct way of doing things, dealing his life in
the right way and socializing with people.

4. What is the focus of ethics?


Ethics focus on human behavior, doing things in a right way and having a good quality of
life.

5. What is the difference among moral actions, immoral actions, and amoral actions? Cite
example of each.
 Moral actions are those positive actions which are right doing base on the norms
of morality. Example is treating others as you want to be treated
 Immoral action is not morally good and not accepted in the standard of morality.
One of the examples of immoral action is stealing money from the petty cash
drawer at work.
 Amoral action is someone who does not care if his actions are right or wrong, or
actions that show a lack of care about what is morally right. The example of this
is copying in someone’s answer.

6. Explain the passage, Ethics is an absolute knowledge.”


A man needs ethics to know what he is doing. It is called absolute knowledge to guide
human or the way to know the person’s essence and value of his life. Ethics will be the
basis of judgment in doing the right or wrong.
7. What is the main purpose of work?
The main purpose of work is to earn money and to serving someone, providing
something of worth to others.

8. Why is it a must to have an encouraging working atmosphere for a workplace?


It is important to having a good working atmosphere in a workplace for it promotes
worker’s growth, efficiency and development for achieving his goal and to his
organization.

9. Explain the advantages of having a moral law as a guide in doing work.


The advantages of having a moral law as a guide in doing work are good governance,
productive quality of work, increasing the benefits in the workplace and having a good
reputation in the company or in the workplace.

10. What does the poem “Life is What We make it” want to emphasize?
The poem emphasizes the quality of life that people have. Think positive in every
situation, never think the bad things that happen in the past and continue the life that God
has given to everyone.
