As a Security Technical Consultant your typical responsibilities may include:
Provide pre-sales support identifying opportunities and contributing expertise around the
design and configuration requirements
Reviewing high level architectural documents and SOW's
Providing low level design input
Perform security assessments and reviews
Consult and advise on recommendations for remediation
Assist with Penetration Testing where required
Providing leadership throughout the delivery and implementation of the solution

Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience with design, architecture and implementation of Security

solutions
Any industry certifications such as CISSP CISM, CRISC, OSCP, CEH, SABSA, CCIE,
PCNSE (Highly desired)
Broad knowledge and experience across the Cyber Security landscape
Ability to own HLD and LLD phases across a broad scope of security initiatives
Be the trusted advisor and subject matter expert
Technical expertise from at least 2 of the below:
Network Security
Perimeter Security
End Point Security
Email and Web Security
IoT Security
Cloud Security
Application Security
Identity and Access Management
The position will expose you to a broad range of technologies. Some example initiatives
include
Design of security architecture frameworks

Conduct threat and risk assessments
Micro and Network segmentation initiatives
Perimeter firewall redesigns
NAC Uplifts
Cisco ISE design and implementation
SIEM and SOC uplifts
Identity, MFA and PAM designs and implementation
Design of F5 APM
Technologies you maybe exposed to include
Azure, AWS, GCP

Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, ASA
IPS, IDS
Qualys, Nessus
Kali, Burpsuite, Checkmarx
Ironport, Bluecoat, Firepower
