    In your opinion, what makes an individual literate in media
    and information? Cite some personal experience as support
    In my own opinion and experience being literate in media
    and information required having the ability to know where
    information comes from. I, myself is an active consumer
    of media and I gather information from tv shows and
    articles from websites and I do understand it first and
    determine whether the information that I found on
    different platforms is not false information or fake news.
    To be literate in media and information, an individual
    should be able to verify the information. Anybody can
    spread falsehoods that become viral and passive
    receivers of media end up believing it. So being an active
    consumer of media is a must to become literate in media
    and information.
    What activities or habits do you practice which illustrate
    media and information literacy?

    Reading news articles, scrolling my


    newsfeed on Facebook, checking
    tweets on Twitter, posting my own
    photos on Instagram, and reading
    messages from my email, telegram
    and messenger.
