Questions 11 through 13 are based on the following passage.

Being a stay-at-home dad now is much more different than it was 10 years ago. It's no longer
something new. You can see them all the time. A new study finds that in the U. S. more than two
million fathers are staying at home to take care of the house and family. This number is twice that
of 25 years ago. In 2012, 16 percent of all parents in the U. S. were stay-at-home dads.
A research shows the number of dads staying at home will continue to grow. In the last 25
years there have been changes. Dads are taking on more responsibilities for taking care of the
children. Mothers, however, take on more responsibilities for supporting the family. The research
also points out that dads have spent much more hours caring for their kids in the past decades.
That is a huge change.
The study finds that disability, sickness and unemployment are among the reasons that
fathers stay home. But, some fathers do so simply to spend more time with their children.
Blake Humphreys is a big, strong man. He and his wife have two kids, a 10-year-old son
named Aiden and a nine-year-old daughter named Camille. He has been a stay-at-home dad for
the past ten years since his son was born. Blake became a stay-at-home parent for the same reason
many women do. He made less money than his wife.
When asked about the most difficult part of being a stay-at-home dad, Blake says feeling
lonely and short of friends. He really misses the happy time with colleagues at his former job.
There is also another problem. Even though the number of stay-at-home fathers is growing in the
U.S., stay-at-home dads can still face worries about their self-worth. Blake and other stay-at-home
dads expressed their feelings of anxiety. But Blake admits spending time with his children is
valuable and he really enjoys it.
Questions:
11. Which reason for fathers’ stay at home is NOT mentioned in the study?
12. Why did Blake become a stay-at-home parent?
13. According to Blake, what is the most difficult part of being a stay-at-home dad?
