What other qualities should the candidate have aside from
the R.I.G.H.T. qualities. Aside from the R.I.G.H.T. Qualities, the candidates should also be Accountable to their actions and decisions, Consensus-oriented to establish peaceful agreements, and Transparent at necessary times to assure the public. Accountability creates an efficient progress in their policies maintaining peace and order, the more accountable a government is the less complaints they receive from the people. Moreover, they should also be consensus-oriented to work together without many misunderstandings in their agreements. Furthermore, the candidates must also be transparent because it is what builds trust among all of them. Without the foundation of trust, all other important things will fall apart. 2. What can you say about the current elected government officials? The current elected officials make efforts to alleviate the country’s problems however, some of their solutions to the problems we are currently facing does not make any sense. Furthermore, instead of focusing on more important matters they make laws that is far from what is necessary. For instance, Anti-terror bill was published when people needed more assistance in the health sector, or when the processing of Dolomite sand in Manila Bay was put to priority when more people were dying because of the pandemic. In other words, the government is not doing their respective jobs successfully and proves it worse as time passes by. Hopefully, in the next elections, more people will be enlightened that we should not settle for less because the people deserve more, we deserve more. 3. In what way does voters education can help you as a T.I.P student? As a T.I.P. student, voters education insures the health of our country’s democracy. It helps us understand our roles in the electoral process and what we should consider in choosing the right candidates. Whoever we elect will dictate what kind of government will serve us. Hence, we need someone whose actions matches their words and whose qualities are right for the position they are running for. In this way, we have helped our country to be in the right hands since our vote matters. 4. What qualities do you think are missing to some candidate nowadays? I think some of the qualities that some candidates lack are the quality of having Integrity, Giftedness, Heart, Clean Track Record. Most of the candidates lacks integrity because their actions don’t match with their words, they are only good at making promises in the beginning but lacks initiative during the process. They also lack Giftedness and Heart because they don’t carry out their responsibilities successfully and their pride is greater than their contributions, respectively. In addition, some of the candidates, despite their filthy records in executing acts punishable by law, are still eligible for candidacy. Their clean records don’t exist anymore which makes them unworthy of the position they are running because they have not proven anything of worthy for but still get through it anyway. 5. If ever you will run as a candidate for election, what are your platforms? And how it will help the country. If given the chance to run as a candidate for election, I will create platforms that would help sustain the economy. The economy is interconnected wiith other activities assoicated with the governance. The economy’s function is the lifeblood of a country, because it is what keeps us moving and breathing. I will insure the rights of environmental welfare and farmers’ rights to to increase exports from the agriculture sector and maintain the order and cleanliness in our environment. In that way we can also attract more tourist net income and increase our GDP. This will help the economy increase the standard of living and could eradicate poverty and other problems, because the condition of our economy is what determines our quality of life.
