“Are You On Your Phone Too Much?”

According to research from RescueTime, one of several apps for iOS and Android created
to monitor phone use, people generally spend an average of three hours and 15 minutes
on their phones every day, with the top 20% of smartphone users spending upwards of
four and a half hours.

Conduct a survey among your FB friends by asking them their average daily usage of their
mobile phones. Express in hours and round off values to whole numbers.

What does the survey reveal about the average daily usage of your FB friends with their
mobile phones?

The survey reveals that most of the teenager use their phone in a higher average daily
usage. Teenager is the one who always spend times with their phone than adults because of
our generation most of us are depend on our phones. because of this survey I was able to
see those people who use longer of their phone.

1. What is the probability of having at most 4 hours of average daily usage?

- The probability of having at most 4 hours of average daily usage is 6%. Based on my
survey, I added (2 hours = 0.02) and (4 hours = 0.04) equal to 0.06 then I multiplied it by 100
and the result is 6%.

2. What is the probability of having at least 3 hours of average daily usage?

- The probability of having at least 3 hours of average daily usage is 98%. Based on my
survey, I added all decimal number from 4 to 14 hours (no one answered 3 hours at my
survey) equal to 0.98 then I multiplied it by 100 and the result is 98%.

3. Out of 100 FB users, how many use their mobile phones for more than 4 hours daily?

- Out of 100 FB users, 98% use their mobile phones for more than 4 hours.
